I’m very early in my second pregnancy and, of course, I’m already obsessing over names. I don’t have any that I totally love…even with our daughter it took us a while to fall in love with [name_f]Nova[/name_f]. But when push came to shove it was the only name that truly fit.
Parameters:
– Our last name starts with S and ends with a harsh -ARK sound…so the name can’t end in S or have too many harsh consonants in it. My husband’s name is [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and mine is [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] an the L sounds and vowel sound are very pleasing with out last name.
– I don’t need more astrological names. We’ve already dismissed [name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]. That would be way too much! :-?
– I would love a name that is easy for most to spell and easily recognized…but right on the cusp of unusual. A name that is a legitimate name and not just a word picked out of the dictionary (if that makes sense).
– I love names that are soft but strong, like [name_f]Nova[/name_f].
– I’m not a big fan of nicknames. [name_f]Nova[/name_f] does not allow a nickname and I like it that way.
Some names I like but aren’t totally right (some are to common or too odd for my taste, but I still like them. Others do not go with out last name):
[name_u]Seren[/name_u], [name_u]Waverly[/name_u], [name_f]Thea[/name_f], [name_f]Raina[/name_f], [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], [name_f]Aria[/name_f], [name_u]Indigo[/name_u]
[name_u]Dorian[/name_u], [name_u]Neo[/name_u], [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], [name_m]Killian[/name_m], [name_m]Beckett[/name_m], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Atlas[/name_m]
I NEED HELP!
