[name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Sylvia[/name] stand out to me, and [name]Agatha[/name] would make a brave choice!
Any middle name ideas yet?

Good luck!

Wow, four girls!

I’d eliminate [name]Olive[/name] first off. I think it’s a gorgeous name, but it has a much different vibe than [name]Frances[/name], [name]Margot[/name], [name]Esther[/name], and [name]Ramona[/name] – a little bit less classic, a little funkier, a little more hipster, certainly trendier. Personally, I’d ax [name]Blythe[/name], too. It just feels very different from your other names.

As it stands, all of your girl names have different endings -es, -ot, -er, -a, and for that reason, I’d get rid of [name]Agatha[/name] and [name]Sylvia[/name], as they would share an ending with [name]Ramona[/name] but with none of the others (same amount of syllables, too, and similar witchy vibes). Is there a reason you won’t consider [name]Sylvie[/name] as a full name? It’s traditionally not a nickname, but the French variation of [name]Sylvia[/name], so it could work if you’re keen on it. It would fit with your other girl names, but would have an ending distinct from all the rest, which is kind of a cool set-up, to have each of your kids have names that end very differently.

On that note, I’d also nix [name]Louisa[/name].

[name]Esther[/name] with the nickname [name]Tess[/name] is a stroke of genius. Might be stealing.

My votes go to [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name].

[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Bryony[/name]
[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Gemma[/name]
[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Maude[/name] (M name: cut. It was the first name I thought of when I saw the thread.)
[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Sylvia[/name] nn. [name]Sylvie[/name]
[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Tempest[/name]
[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Theresa[/name] (perhaps too close to [name]Esther[/name])
[name]Ramona[/name], [name]Frances[/name], [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Esther[/name], [name]Margot[/name] & [name]Vesper[/name] (perhaps too close to [name]Esther[/name]

I voted [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name] and [name]Olive[/name], out of those three my favourite would be [name]Hazel[/name], I prefer [name]Beatrice[/name] to [name]Beatrix[/name] and if it had been that, then that would be my favourite. I voted for [name]Olive[/name] because I genuinely just love it.
I would definitely go for a name that doesn’t have the same ending sound as any of your other children’s names.
Some suggestions:
[name]Felicity[/name] (Fliss, [name]Flick[/name])
[name]Bridget[/name] ([name]Birdie[/name], Briddy, [name]Bree[/name])
[name]Josephine[/name] ([name]Posy[/name], Sephy, [name]Finn[/name])
[name]Odette[/name] ([name]Ody[/name])
[name]Ottoline[/name] ([name]Otto[/name])
[name]Tove[/name]

I think Harriet, Beatrix and Sylvia are perfect. Somehow Ramona and Sylvia seem very different to me and I would worry with both having the -a ending especially if they might go by Ro and Sylvie.

Beatrix nn Bea is divine. Beatrix also means bringer of happiness which is a plus for me. None of your nicknames have the -a ending yet. I wouldnt use M names for the reasons that you have given and because none of your other children share letters.

Beatrix Pheobe
Beatrix Matilda
Beatrix Sylvia

Pheobe Matilda
Pheobe Maude

Harriet Pearl
Harriet Maude
Harriet Maxine

Would you consider adding Pheobe again?? It has a gorgeous meaning and feels at home with your other children’s names.

I vote [name]Sylvie[/name] - only because our oldest is [name]Frances[/name] and if our next is a girl it will be [name]Sylvie[/name] I also like [name]Louisa[/name].

I voted [name]Sylvia[/name], [name]Harriet[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], [name]Agatha[/name], and [name]Louisa[/name]. I think any of those names go perfectly with your childrens’ names- I love [name]Esther[/name], btw!

I think [name]Phoebe[/name] is too close to [name]Frances[/name], and [name]Nora[/name] to [name]Ramona[/name]–though I love both names. [name]Sylvia[/name] is different enough from [name]Ramona[/name] that it might work, though that does mean two three-syllabus names ending in -a.

My favorite is [name]Harriet[/name]. I like that it’s three syllables, when all but [name]Ramona[/name] are two. I like that it starts and ends in different letters than any of the others, which all start and end with different letters. It fits the slightly old-fashioned feel of all your children’s names, as well as the fact that they’re all relatively uncommon. I also think it’s pretty spunky!

[name]Hazel[/name] would be my second choice–on all the same grounds except that it’s two-syllables and it’s been popular lately.

Good luck!

BTW, we have a [name]Margot[/name] too, and her sisters are [name]Elena[/name] and [name]Karen[/name].

I voted for [name]Harriet[/name] ([name]Hattie[/name]! [name]Love[/name] the nn more than the proper) and [name]Beatrix[/name]. There are others I like, but those are my clear favorites! [name]Love[/name] your style!

I vote [name]Hazel[/name] or [name]Beatrix[/name]!

I voted for [name]Hazel[/name] & [name]Beatrix[/name] too. I also really like [name]Blythe[/name] and [name]Phoebe[/name], but I’m not sure that those last two go as well with your sibset. [name]Beatrix[/name] has a much better set of nn options than [name]Hazel[/name] so I think that would be my final pick for you.

I really think [name]Agatha[/name] “[name]Aggie[/name]” would be adorable.

[name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Olive[/name]
and [name]Sylvia[/name] are my favorites from your list.
I think they would fit great!
