Sibling for Sadie

I am VERY close to my due date and can’t seem to think of a girl’s name that my husband and I truly love. Though we stumbled on it accidentally and at the last minute, we really enjoy my daughter [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name]'s name and are looking for something in the same vein. The question I can’t answer is, what vein is that? We’ve come up with several names that we’re lukewarm about that are all lovely, but the perfect name is elusive. Some we’ve been considering are [name]Maisie[/name], Mailie, [name]Marlow[/name], [name]Marley[/name], [name]Sloane[/name], and [name]Romy[/name]. My husband loves [name]Edie[/name], but I worry it sounds a little too similar to [name]Sadie[/name]. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

[name]Lucy[/name] ([name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name]…)
[name]Penelope[/name] ([name]Penny[/name])
[name]Sophia[/name] (pardon the popularity)
[name]Chloe[/name] (again…)

[name]Edie[/name] is definately too close to [name]Sadie[/name]. What about [name]Josie[/name]? Or [name]Molly[/name]? [name]Libby[/name]? [name]Ruby[/name]? If you don’t mind them sharing the same initial [name]Stella[/name] or [name]Sophie[/name] could be options.

I love the name [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name], its quite a hard one to follow! Here are some thoughts:
[name]Eliza[/name] [name]Blue[/name]
[name]Ruby[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Bella[/name]/[name]Belle[/name] (nice for a first or middle name)
[name]Isla[/name] [name]Jade[/name]

Good luck!

More ideas-

I love [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. From your list , I like [name]Marlow[/name] the best but I prefer the spelling with an “e” at the end. There is another name similar to [name]Marlow[/name] and that’s Mallow. [name]Maisie[/name], Mailie, [name]Marley[/name] and [name]Romy[/name] sound too matchy with [name]Sadie[/name]. I wouldn’t have another name that begins with “s” like [name]Sloane[/name] either. Some of the posters have great suggestions like…
[name]Eliza[/name] [name]Blue[/name]

Other suggestions

[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name] & [name]Greer[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name] & [name]Maren[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name] & [name]Kaia[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name] & [name]Maya[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name] & [name]Mia[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name] & [name]Jada[/name]

We were considering [name]Sadie[/name] for our twins before we found out they were boys. Our daughters name is [name]Kaia[/name] and other names we considered were: [name]Piper[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Holly[/name], [name]Erin[/name], [name]Bridget[/name], [name]Skye[/name], [name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. Any of those any good?

I love the combo [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. What about:

[name]Ella[/name] [name]Francis[/name]
[name]Franny[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Hattie[/name] [name]Lynn[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Rory[/name] [name]Maude[/name]
[name]Eva[/name] [name]Louise[/name]

I love the name [name]Marlowe[/name]! And while [name]Edie[/name] is too close, I think another -ie or -y name would be great.

[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Millie[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] ([name]Millie[/name] could be a nn)
[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]June[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Olive[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name]

Great suggestions - thanks so much everybody! Lots to suggest now to my husband and try out for a few days. Fingers crossed the kid doesn’t arrive too soon.

[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Lucy[/name] would be really cute.

Lillibeth is a pretty name and is a good pair to [name]Sadie[/name]. She can also go by [name]Lilly[/name], although that is pretty popular at the moment.

I also think [name]Sloane[/name] is beautiful, as well as [name]Ruby[/name] or [name]Mabel[/name].

[name]Sadie[/name] & [name]Willow[/name]

I have a friend who had a [name]Sadie[/name] and another girls name she was considering was [name]Savannah[/name]. Also, [name]Blake[/name] for a boy.

I love [name]Romy[/name] and [name]Maisie[/name]! [name]Maisie[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name] does sound a little overtly… cutesy, though. But [name]Romy[/name] is gorgeous. ^^ By the way, [name]Sadie[/name] [name]Grey[/name] is a stunning name - I love it!

Pardon repeats:

[name]Romilly[/name] ("[name]Romy[/name]")

[name]Evie[/name]/ [name]Eve[/name]/ [name]Eva[/name]
Beatty/ Beattie
[name]Rosie[/name]/ [name]Rose[/name]/ [name]Rosa[/name]

[name]Sadie[/name] and [name]Marnie[/name]?

I also love the name [name]Edie[/name] (as does my boyfriend!). [name]Sadie[/name] & [name]Edie[/name] are very different names, in my opinion!
[name]Edie[/name] is often a nickname for the full name [name]Edith[/name], & can also be used as a nickname for the full name [name]Eden[/name].
I actually love the way [name]Sadie[/name] & [name]Edith[/name] look together!!!

I think [name]Sloane[/name] is a beautiful name. It is one of my favorites.
