Sibling for Samantha, Sydney & Shay

Open to suggestions!
We don’t know the gender
([name_u]Sydney[/name_u] is a girl and [name_u]Shay[/name_u] is a boy)
I feel like girl name should be longer, with potential for a nickname, boy name should be short.
We are NOT tied to the name starting with “s” (though a lot of people have voiced their opinion that it MUST be an “s” name!)
Irish origin is a plus but not a requirement.

Two names beginning with the same letter is a COINCIDENCE. Three or more names sharing the same initial is a PATTERN. If you find an “S” name you love, I would stick with that letter. I wouldn’t want your fourth child to feel like the odd one out. If another “S” name doesn’t grab you then move on. Here are some suggestions.

[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] - [name_f]Suki[/name_f], [name_f]Susie[/name_f].
[name_f]Suzanna[/name_f] - [name_f]Zanna[/name_f]? Z

As far as very Irish girls names, I like [name_f]Sinead[/name_f], [name_f]Sorcha[/name_f], and [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f], especially the first and last, but I kind of feel like they come slamming out of left field compared to Top Hundred [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] and [name_f]Samantha[/name_f].

Not Irish, but [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f], and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] all seem pretty well in keeping? Femme, well-known.

Boys
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] - long, but could be [name_m]Seb[/name_m] or [name_m]Baz[/name_m]. Balances [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] well I think?
[name_m]Stephen[/name_m]
[name_m]Saul[/name_m]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_u]Sterling[/name_u]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u]
[name_m]Stone[/name_m]
[name_u]Slate[/name_u]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_m]Santiago[/name_m] - [name_m]Tiago[/name_m] is cool. But [name_m]Santiago[/name_m] is long…

I like [name_u]Shane[/name_u] and [name_m]Seamus[/name_m], but not with a [name_u]Shay[/name_u].

[name_f]Samantha[/name_f], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], [name_u]Shay[/name_u], & ______:
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u] “[name_f]Lola[/name_f]”
[name_f]Sonora[/name_f] “[name_u]Sonny[/name_u]”
[name_u]Salem[/name_u]
[name_u]Schuyler[/name_u]
[name_u]Scout[/name_u]
[name_u]Simone[/name_u]

OR

[name_u]Sheldon[/name_u]
[name_m]Stellan[/name_m]
[name_m]Soren[/name_m] “[name_u]Ren[/name_u]”
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_u]Sutton[/name_u]
[name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] “[name_u]Van[/name_u]”/"[name_u]Sully[/name_u]"

Some of my favourite S names for girls include [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f], [name_f]Sabina[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Savannah[/name_f], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Sally[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f]. [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] could also be a good option for you.

If you can’t find an S name you [name_u]LOVE[/name_u], then perhaps a name that starts with the same sound - [name_f]Cecelia[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f] etc…

I feel like your 4th might feel left out if they don’t get an S name like their brother and sisters, but at the same time, it’s better to choose a name you [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] as opposed to a name that’s just okay but starts with your theme letter.

For boys, I think most of the best options have already been suggested. Good luck!

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] I helped.
Good luck finding a name!

[name_f]My[/name_f] votes for you, based on following the S pattern, short for boy, long for girl:

[name_f]Samantha[/name_f], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], [name_u]Shay[/name_u] & [name_f]Sonya[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], [name_u]Shay[/name_u] & [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]-[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], [name_u]Shay[/name_u] & [name_m]Scott[/name_m]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f], [name_u]Sydney[/name_u], [name_u]Shay[/name_u] & [name_u]Seth[/name_u]

I’m one of the “you have to use an S name” namers… just because it always seems like the parents didn’t really want the last one if its different than the other three to me (loll).

I like [name_u]Shelby[/name_u]… because [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] and [name_u]Sydney[/name_u] both have the strong S sound, so [name_u]Shay[/name_u] and [name_u]Shelby[/name_u] would coordinate with “Sh” sound to balance it out.

For a girl I think [name_u]Shiloh[/name_u] would be adorable. I like [name_m]Smith[/name_m] for a boy, but that might be to modern for the sib set.
