Sibling name for Eloise!

We are expecting a baby boy in [name_u]August[/name_u] and are a bit at odds with what to name him. I would love a classic sounding name to go well with our daughter [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f], but my husband really wants a Finnish name due to his heritage.

Our top contenders are [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] and [name_m]Eero[/name_m] (Finnish- pronounced arrow).
I also love [name_u]August[/name_u] but husband had vetoed it.
I love a name with a great nickname. [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] goes by [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] we would call [name_u]Kit[/name_u].

Any suggestions on either other classic yet less common names, or Finnish names (I know, they’re tricky) that would sound nice with [name_f]Eloise[/name_f]?

[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is amazing! [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is super cute. At first I wasn’t all that excited when I read [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] (it’s not even popular, but I read it on this site a lot), but [name_u]Kit[/name_u] & [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are very sweet together. I also like [name_m]Crispin[/name_m] & [name_u]Cricket[/name_u] (kind of a guilty pleasure :blush: ) nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. All that being said, I quite like [name_m]Eero[/name_m]. It’s really unique, but isn’t too terribly complicated. That would get my vote from the two.

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_m]Eero[/name_m] sounds amazing to me. Flows well- it sounds like an alliteration but on paper it isn’t which makes it a really unique combo.

[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u] are really cute together and sound classic, whilst [name_m]Eero[/name_m] honours your husbands background.

I love this idea so much! Unfortunately we have a lot of pressure from my husbands family to continue their tradition of using the fathers name as the middle name, which is [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m].

Eero is a great underused name! [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] is very trendy not into it at all not a classic like [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].
