I have a son called [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and a daughter called [name_f]Tilly[/name_f]. I didn’t plan on them having the same ‘ee’ ending sound and now I am having trouble with baby number 3, whether to continue with this or not.
We love the name [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] for a boy, but girls names are stumping us, at the minute we really like [name_f]Mae[/name_f].
Does the sibset sound ok?
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Mae[/name_f] is short but sweet. [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] kind of sounds like a geezer to me. I’d go for a different ending, in any case. [name_m]Felix[/name_m]?
I think [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m] sounds really good with [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_f]Tilly[/name_f], and it doesn’t sound too similar, as it’s 3 syllables whilst [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] are 2. And I don’t think you have to continue with the ‘ee’ endings; [name_f]Mae[/name_f] sounds great with [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] too. If you’re stuck with girls’ names maybe you’d like [name_f]Faye[/name_f]/[name_f]Fae[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f]?
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_f]Tilly[/name_f] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
I really like it! I don’t think it’s necessary for all your children’s names to have the same ending sound. Very cute sibset.
