Sibset Advice Needed

[name]Hi[/name] Berries - Thank you all so much for advice on girls name in some of my previous threads. DH and I are officially TTC now and are having a hard time coming up with another girls name we like as much as our daughters name, [name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. I have a lot of names I “like” but don’t [name]LOVE[/name], and some don’t sound the best with [name]Maren[/name] stylistically I fear.

Could you please let me know which names below you like and seem to flow well with [name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]? MN is family name. Thanks!

[name]Adele[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] - DH likes but fears the singer connection
[name]Audrey[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] - too popular?
[name]Elena[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Elle[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Elodie[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] - DH not completely sold
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Nora[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]

I like [name]Adele[/name], [name]Elle[/name], and [name]Lydia[/name]. I think all three of those flow well with [name]Catherine[/name] and with [name]Maren[/name]. My favorite is probably [name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Adele[/name] [name]Catherine[/name].

[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and sister…

1 [name]Adele[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
2 [name]Nora[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
3 [name]Audrey[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]

I’ve always thought that the name [name]Greta[/name] would be lovely with [name]Maren[/name]. [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Greta[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]?

I like [name]Nora[/name], [name]Adele[/name], and [name]Lydia[/name] with [name]Maren[/name]. All three have the soft, quiet feel to them that [name]Maren[/name] has. Before I even read your list, the name [name]Nora[/name] came to me as being very good with [name]Maren[/name], so that’s my favorite!

[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Rosalie[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Serena[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Josephine[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] and [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]

I think [name]Adele[/name] is great but if the singer is a concern I like [name]Nora[/name] next-best. [name]Maren[/name] and [name]Nora[/name] suit each other well, and I could see [name]Maren[/name] with a sister [name]Elinor[/name] or [name]Eleanor[/name] as well, since you like [name]Elle[/name].

Also could see
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Ingrid[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Inga[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Liv[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Juna[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Juno[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Linnea[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Dagny[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Signy[/name]
[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Ada[/name]

My favorites of those above with mn [name]Catherine[/name] are [name]Inga[/name], [name]Juna[/name], and [name]Ada[/name].
Good luck!

First of all congratulations on TTC!! You have some beautiful choices!! With [name]Maren[/name] I really like [name]Lydia[/name], [name]Elle[/name] and [name]Adelle[/name]… If you are worried about the connection with the singer have you considered [name]Adella[/name] nn [name]Della[/name]?
Here are a few more ideas just in case…

Best of luck TTC!!

Thank you for all your responses! I think we are leaning towards either [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] or [name]Elle[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] for now. I do love the name [name]Liv[/name], prefer [name]Olivia[/name] nn [name]Liv[/name] but it’s way to popular for my tastes. I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Serena[/name], but unfortunately it sounds pretty bad with our last name. :frowning:

[name]Maren[/name] and [name]Elle[/name] make a great sibset!
