So we aren’t pregnant yet, but we’ve pretty much confirmed that we will have a second child, if everything works out. The only problem is that we used the only name we both like for our first.
I’m looking for ideas for a possible sibling for [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] [name_m]Warren[/name_m]. I loved [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] because it was different but not too different. It falls with in the current naming trends (starts with a vowel, has two syllables, and ends with an N sound) with out being one of the trendy names. I like that it’s easy to pronounce and spell, and that it makes him sound like a grown up. (A lady at my work upon hearing my name choice replied “That doesn’t sound like a baby!” which I actually took as a compliment though I don’t think she meant it that way). I like that the name has history.
If you had to choose one girl name and one boy name to go be a sibling to [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] [name_m]Warren[/name_m] what would it be? If we have a girl the middle name will be some variant of [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]/[name_f]Sally[/name_f]/[name_f]Sarai[/name_f] to pay honor to my late mother in law. I would love suggestions!
If I had to pick one boy name it would have to be [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] (although I want to suggest [name_m]Roland[/name_m] too!). The girl name would be [name_f]Laura[/name_f]. I really like [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Sarai[/name_f] (or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]?).
