Sibset too match-ie?

What do you think about [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] as an all girl sibset? Too much -ie or is it sweet?

I’ve encountered various sibsets with all the same endings. I think they work just fine  [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] are sweet!

very cute!! adorable and timeless names that definitely go well together! have you considered giving them longer full names so that they have options later down the road, should they decide they want to be less matchy/cute? (ie: [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], Winona)

I don’t find them too matchy, the first syllables are different enough to make them distinctive in my opinion. I like them together!

I think they’re so pretty together!

The first syllables are all different so imho it works well! So cute together!

Super cute as nicknames! I would prefer something like Charlotte, Sylvia, and Winifred nicknamed Lottie, Sylvie, and Winnie, but even without full names it’s quite charming! Very winter-y in vibe!

ETA - I forgot to mention that my name is Mollie, and my sister is Margaret “Maggie”, and nobody has ever said much about them being “match-ie.”

They work! They are quite match-ie :smirk: but I think each name has enough spirit and substance to stop it feeling too cutesy as a trio.

Nicknamey names ending in -ie can often feel cute but not much else (to me) but [name_f]Lottie[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] all have a bit of funky vintage flair so it works!

I think they’re matchy in a sweet way. The names are distinct but they feel like a set!

I really like them as a sibset, very sweet and vintage. Not too matchy for me!

I don’t mind the endings but [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] feels a bit formal next to nicknames [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] for me as it’s an established full name.

Those are adorable!! Great choices.

No way! It’s so cute and I love it.

Definitely sweet! I love sibsets with all -ie endings.

So adorable!! I love them

I love it!

it’s just the right amount of cute! sounds very sweet, pink and flowery princess sisters, but also great names of their own ofc.

They don’t feel matchy to me since “-ie” is a pretty common ending for the name. If they all ended in something unusual they’d feel matchy.

I don’t think they’re to matchy. The beginning sounds differentiate them enough. They’re really cute together!

I think they’re fine together. I don’t usually like nicknames as full names, but if you do that’s ok. I’d prefer longer full names names for [name_f]Lottie[/name_f] and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], but [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] is a name all on its own so I see no reason to suggest [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] instead.
