Sibset

I’ve had the names Theo or Henry picked out for a couple of years now. Now that we are expecting number 5, I feel like at every activity we go to all I hear is Theo and Henry. I don’t mind my kids names being in the top 100, but I don’t like hearing it everywhere.

Anyways, here are a Few I’m crushing on and I’m curious if you think these flow with our sibset. If so, which is your favorite?

Our kids:
Liam
Nolan
Ivy
Silas
And…

Garrett
Andrew
Isaiah
Victor

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is my favorite! [name_m]Super[/name_m] underrated, I don’t even think I’ve ever met an [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]. Flows well with your kids names, and has several nicknames if you want to use them! [name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite would have to be [name_m]Garrett[/name_m], and then [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]. I think stylistically [name_m]Victor[/name_m] stands out a bit against your other kids names.

I knew a few in high school, but haven’t met any children recently with the name! I really love it too!

[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] is cool!

Out of those names I like Andrew best, the nickname Drew is adorable :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Henry and Theodore are great names too and I wouldn’t count them out solely because you’ve heard them around recently, especially since you’ve loved them for a while!

other suggestions

Caleb - Liam, Nolan, Silas, Caleb  all sound different but have an L in them - this is my #1 suggestion for you!

I think I like [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] best with your kiddos, although I like [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] best in general. I do prefer [name_m]Andreas[/name_m] to [name_m]Andrew[/name_m], but I like the simplicity of just [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] for you. [name_m]Drew[/name_m] is a really nice nn but I like just [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] without a nn too. He feels stalwart and strong, kindhearted and generous. I feel like he goes under the radar a lot because other Bible names are considered more “cool” these days, but [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is really lovely.

There’s a television show being produced these days on the life and ministry of [name_m]Jesus[/name_m] called The [name_m]Chosen[/name_m] and the [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] on that show is one of my favorites of the disciples - the actor plays him with so much heart and intensity, he wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s not afraid of his emotions, he loves people in his life intensely. He has a sense of humor. He’s so relatable. He makes the name [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] infinitely more likable, imo, and so I think of him instantly.

I think I like [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] so much because he reminds me a lot of [name_m]Gareth[/name_m], which seems to fit perfectly with [name_m]Liam[/name_m] & [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and the whole Celtic vibe. I think [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] works really well with [name_m]Silas[/name_m], though. I think [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] sort of bridges the styles of all your kiddos. Victor… I find it hard to envision a [name_m]Victor[/name_m], but I do like the nn Tory/Torrey! I’ve recently come across a couple guys with this name and I’m liking it more and more for a boy. I know [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] nn [name_f]Tori[/name_f] is also popular, but I have been admiring Tory/Torrey for a boy as well.

Other names I like with [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_m]Nolan[/name_m], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], and [name_m]Silas[/name_m]:

[name_m]Finn[/name_m]
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_m]Declan[/name_m]
[name_m]Beau[/name_m]
[name_m]Baxter[/name_m]
[name_m]Asa[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
[name_m]Rowan[/name_m] (sort of like that [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] & [name_m]Silas[/name_m] have the same strong “EYE” sound and [name_m]Nolan[/name_m] and [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] both have the strong “OH” sound)
[name_m]Everett[/name_m]
[name_m]Max[/name_m]
[name_m]Vincent[/name_m]
[name_m]Owen[/name_m]
Rhys/Reese (similar, also love that [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_m]Rhys[/name_m] both have strong “EE” sounds like [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] & [name_m]Silas[/name_m] have the “EYE” sound)

Good luck!

[name_m]Andrew[/name_m] is lovely! It’s a name I wish I heard more. It’s a timeless classic and it has this eternally youthful sound, but people overlook it. [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] gets my vote!

[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] would be my pick!

I love love love love Henry!!!
[name_m]Theo[/name_m] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m] are so cute. I understand feeling the popularity of those names deterring you away from them.
I also love [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] (my dads name) and maybe nn andy/ Rue/ drew
I also like [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] such a beautiful name

Some other suggestions based on your other kids names:

[name_m]Callum[/name_m]
[name_m]Calvin[/name_m]
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Rowan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ansel[/name_m]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Owen[/name_m]
[name_m]Mattheo[/name_m] nn [name_m]Matt[/name_m] or [name_m]Theo[/name_m]

[name_m]Garrett[/name_m] is my favorite! It’s charming and very handsome. A traditional but not overused choice.

I love that all your children would have different initials and names with distinct sounds.
