How fun to look at these! I’m intrigued by multiple appearances of Loral. I wonder if that’s an alternate spelling of [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] or if it’s from another source.
I have an ancestor from around this period who was [name_f]Flossie[/name_f], given name [name_u]Florence[/name_u]. (Never going to use it, but I love it!) I don’t think that census takers worried too much about nicknames vs. given, so I expect some of these are nicknames.
I also noted that larger families (5+ kids) don’t tend to have a cohesive set. Some Johns and [name_f]Marys[/name_f] mixed in with [name_u]Omer[/name_u] and [name_f]Leafy[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] interesting to notice.
