Sienna & Celine?

What are your thoughts on [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] & [name_f]Celine[/name_f] as a sibset?

I love them both separately but I think they’re a little too close for siblings

I’m sorry, but I agree with samtay. I think they’re too close for siblings sound-wise (though stylistically almost too different).

[name_m]The[/name_m] sounds are kinda like having a [name_f]Georgie[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. [name_m]Not[/name_m] that bad, but still similar enough that I wouldn’t use them.

I disagree, I think they sound nice together and are not too matchy.

[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Celine[/name_f] have very different vibes to me- I find [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] to be bright, sunny, and earthy, versus I find [name_f]Celine[/name_f] to be more serene and starry.

I’m falling somewhere in the middle here. On one hand, my immediate thought was “too similar sounding.” On the other hand, upon saying them out loud, I don’t think they’re SO close that it couldn’t work. They could.

They’re not quite as close as the previous example given - [name_f]Georgie[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - but the Ce and the Si beginnings definitely give off the feeling of them being just a wee bit too close. I, personally, would do something like [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Celine[/name_f], [name_f]Silvana[/name_f] and [name_f]Celine[/name_f], or [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - just to break up those starting sounds.

I don’t think they’re TOO close. They don’t look visually similar, and they don’t really sound similar if you enunciate. Saying them quickly does feel a little bit like trying to speak with peanut butter in your mouth.

I do agree that the vibes don’t quite match though – maybe:

Sienna & Corinne
Sienna & Camille
Sienna & Cecily
Sienna & Elise
Sienna & Adeline
Sienna & Celeste

Celine & Stella
Celine & Saskia
Celine & Sabrina
Celine & Selah
Celine & Bianca

Or, meet in the middle… Sabine & Celia?

I really like them both individually, but for me personally, they’re just a little too similar. They are slightly different styles but still the same soft, elegant vibe, and the shared “s/c”, “ee" and “n” sound makes them feel more alike than I’d usually prefer for siblings. That said, it’s not nearly as obvious as some other similar pairs, so I think it’s still definitely doable if you love both names.

Oh definitely [name_f]Celine[/name_f] so celestial :sparkles:

I would mix them up all the time

They’re slightly matchy but in a sleek, stylish way ?
