I was reading a book and one of the characters names was [name]Silas[/name], WDYT?
I love [name]Silas[/name], it’s so handsome. I’ve never met or heard of a [name]Silas[/name] before but I would love to meet one.
I’ve always loved [name]Silas[/name]. I always fear it’s getting too popular- but work with kids and have yet to meet one. I love [name]Si[/name] as a nn.
I like the sound of [name]Silas[/name] but it always feels old to me for some reason, though [name]Si[/name] is a cute nickname. I prefer [name]Cyrus[/name].
I love [name]Silas[/name], it’s on my short list for a boy - though it’s as a middle name for [name]Adrian[/name].
I really like the name [name]Silas[/name]. I love the sound of it. I don’t know why I think of someone older when I hear it, but I think it would be adorable on a little boy.
Very handsome name. Has been shooting up the charts a bit - I think although he was a villain in it, The Da [name]Vinci[/name] Code’s character with this name got some of that popularity going.
I like it for the character [name]Silas[/name] Marner and only know one real life [name]Silas[/name] (who is 34) so it’s not too common where I live or come from.
I know a couple of rascally young Silases <5. It wears very well on a rambunctious little boy.
[name]Love[/name] it! Was Husband’s grandpas name. Thought about using it.
It’s on my very short list of names I cannot stand. It has a permanent creepy serial killer quality to me. Growing up I remember a couple character (book, movies, etc) with this name and they all turned out to be very bad men. Clearly it’s a personal connotation and nothing with the name itself but it just seems to be ingrained in my brain. It gives me the chills.
I really like [name]Silas[/name] and love that it means wood- or on some other sites I have seen of the forest.
When I mentioned it to my mom to see what she thought she liked it, but thought it could sound whiney, so now I hear the name is sort of a whiney nasal voice. Thanks mom. I still like it though.
