You might think I am crazy but I adore the name Calcifer (yeah the fire demon…) but I know many people hate it. Can you recommend something similar.

Lol I sympathize because I love the name [name_m]Lucifer[/name_m]! The name “Lucifer” was never used in the Bible to refer to Satan. It only became associated with Satan afterwards due to a potential mistranslation of one passage. And yet… obviously I can’t use it. I also like [name_m]Damien[/name_m] which also has demon connotations. Can’t win.

Calcifer has such a great sound! You might like [name_m]Caliban[/name_m], from Shakespeare’s The [name_u]Tempest[/name_u], or [name_m]Celadon[/name_m] or [name_u]Cerulean[/name_u], both colours (blue-green and bright blue, respectively).

If you need an arguing point, he’s a fallen star that still has power and name means bringing light.
I don’t really see what’s so bad about the name tbh.
