Hello Everyone!
My grandmother passed away in [name_u]June[/name_u], and previously I didn’t want to use honor names of grandparents. However, since going four months without her, I’ve realized I would like to honor her somehow.
Her name was [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u], which I like, but I think I would like to freshen it up somehow. [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] means beaver stream. I tried googling names that have similar meanings, but I’m really not a fan of them.
Can you think of a name similar to [name_f]Beverly[/name_f], or a creative way to honor a [name_f]Beverly[/name_f]?
Thank you!
Depending how trendy you’re willing to go, [name_u]Everly[/name_u] could be an option. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] is quite trendy right now (a handful of celeb babies with the name, surname as first name, -ly ending), but to honour a [name_f]Beverly[/name_f], I think it works. [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_f]Bronwen[/name_f] [name_u]Everly[/name_u], or another B- [name_u]Everly[/name_u] name would be a wonderful option, I think.
I’m sorry for your loss.
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]'s idea above is fantastic!
If it were me, I would simply use [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] in the middle. I do love a straight up replica honour name in the middle spot. I feel it expresses how important that person is - more important than picking something you just plain love (that’s what the number one spot is for :)).
I actually think [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] sounds almost fresh again again, I think it’s quite charming in the middle.
I think [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] is a gorgeous name! It’s actually my Aunts name. Her full name is [name_f]Beverley[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f] though but she spells [name_f]Beverley[/name_f] with the “ley” instead of “ly”. I think using [name_f]Beverley[/name_f] that spelling is a good way to honour [name_f]Beverly[/name_f] this way. Sorry for your loss!

I used to work with a woman named [name_u]Bevan[/name_u], and I know she always said she received many compliments on it.
Thanks for all of the suggestions everyone! I’ll keep playing around with what you have suggested, and see if I can find anything that sticks.
