I like [name_m]Simon[/name_m]. But I’m not a fan of the “[name_m]Simon[/name_m] says” connection. Is this even still a popular game or something that is worth worrying about?
What are some other strong but soft names that will mature well?
I really don’t think this is an issue at all. [name_m]Simon[/name_m] feels like a handsome, gentle, underused classic to me. The [name_m]Simon[/name_m] Says connection feels neither strong nor negative to me.

I adore [name_m]Simon[/name_m]! I do think people still play [name_m]Simon[/name_m] Says, but I don’t think it’s an issue at all. The first name that came to mind was [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] (another favorite of mine!) Some other ideas…

I think people still play [name_m]Simon[/name_m] Says, but it’s definitely not the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the name, and it’s not a negative association regardless! I really like [name_m]Simon[/name_m]–warm, bright, and strong yet gentle

I think [name_m]Simon[/name_m] is well enough in use that the game isn’t a huge deal. People might say it but I wouldn’t let that put me off a name i love

I adore the name [name_m]Simon[/name_m] and it’s literally never occurred to me before that it would be associated with [name_m]Simon[/name_m] Says. It’s a well-used, classic boys name, not something unique that would be heavily associated with the game. I think you’re safe!
