Simple/unique Boy Names - Ideas??

I’m really having a hard time finding simple, yet unique boy names that I like. I don’t want to cross the line of “Out there” and I don’t want them to be 1 of 20 [name]Ethan[/name]'s/[name]Jacob[/name]'s/[name]Michael[/name]'s/etc. in school.

Right now I really like the name [name]Baron[/name] [name]Wilder[/name], but my husband isn’t sold on [name]Wilder[/name]. I love it because it sounds adventurous to me… :slight_smile: Any alternatives that you can think of?

Also, there is a small chance our son could have red hair. If that’s the case, I don’t want to call him [name]Baron[/name]. He would for sure be called [name]Red[/name] [name]Baron[/name] :slight_smile: [name]Vaughn[/name] is our second choice, but I’m not totally on board with it. [name]Vaughn[/name] [name]Wilder[/name] sounds like [name]Van[/name] [name]Wilder[/name] to me.

I have about 10 weeks until [name]Baby[/name] Boy is here, so any and all ideas are welcome!!

I like [name]Baron[/name] and I can’t make my mind up about [name]Wilder[/name]. I do like the ‘l’ in the name though as it gives it good flow. I do like [name]Byron[/name] and [name]Byron[/name] [name]Everett[/name] would be nice.

I love the name [name]Vaughan[/name]/[name]Vaughn[/name], it is gorgeous! I think the pp’s suggestion of [name]Wesley[/name] fits perfectly - [name]Vaughn[/name] [name]Wesley[/name].

And if he has red hair he must have [name]Alister[/name]/[name]Alistair[/name] somewhere in the combo eg [name]Julian[/name] [name]Alistair[/name] nn [name]Jules[/name].

I think [name]Vaughn[/name] needs a commanding middle name like [name]Jeremiah[/name].

What do you guys think about [name]Vaughn[/name] [name]Maddox[/name]? [name]Maddox[/name] means “Good, [name]Generous[/name]” which I really like.
