Siobhan or Sinead

Which do you prefer with the last name [name_m]Wood[/name_m]?

I like [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] most, but I am unsure if it’s just me. I like [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] equally but worried about the last and first name ending in a D sound.

TIA

I prefer [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f], for the same reason! The double d ending with [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] doesn’t flow as well :relaxed:

I prefer [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] in general

I prefer [name_f]Sinead[/name_f], and I think it sounds great with your surname! However, if you prefer [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f], go for it. It flows well and it’s a lovely name.

I think [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] sounds good with your surname and I didn’t notice the duplicate “d” ending until you pointed it out. But I prefer [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f], and since you like [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] most, I vote [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] :slightly_smiling_face:

I prefer [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] and I prefer it with [name_m]Wood[/name_m] too! But if you prefer [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] then go with that :sparkles:

[name_f]Sinead[/name_f]! 100%. [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] gets mispronounced so often, Shi-VON, Shi-VAUGHN, (the technically correct pronunciation) See-ob-han, all ways that that name gets pronounced. Also [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] is so much prettier, I don’t care for [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f] in the slightest, there are plenty of other great Irish names out there  [name_f]My[/name_f] pick is for [name_f]Sinead[/name_f], but if you’ve got your heart set on [name_f]Siobhan[/name_f], then I guess go with that, but [name_f]Sinead[/name_f] is so much prettier
