Working on a story - sort of a modern day take on the Siren/Femme Fatale. What names come to mind for a sexy, seductive, clever, and super intelligent character? I need several names to use, 4 or more would be great… and if you can tell me why you chose them that woudl help. Thanks in advance!

From Irish mythology [name]Maeve[/name] is what springs to mind for me! The meaning is given as ‘she who intoxicates’, so I think it’s definitely along the lines of what you’re looking for! You should read the story of the [name]Brown[/name] Bull of Cooley online to get a better idea of the associations of the name, but what you have described reminds me exactly of her! I’d definitely give it a huge recommendation for a Femme Fatale character, and it’s exotic enough for those not in [name]Ireland[/name] to be interesting! Best of luck

I agree with pp, [name]Scarlett[/name]. Also, [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Cassandra[/name], and [name]Anastasia[/name]. I find red to be sexy which is why I chose [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Scarlett[/name]. [name]Anastasia[/name] sounds very lush and seductive but not cheap. [name]Cassandra[/name] has the same feel.

Short but feminine and charming names with just a bit of elegance are the direction I’d go in; a little bit less frilly-mermaid and more 50s femme fatale (with a tiny bit of exoticness)

I would avoid [name]May[/name], because of it’s similarity to the name [name]Maya[/name], and [name]Maya[/name] is a Siren in a very very popular video game right now. I would avoid names similar to [name]Angel[/name] and [name]Lilith[/name] for the exact same reason.
