Sister for Diesel

We’re expecting in [name_f]April[/name_f].
Our son is

[name_m]Diesel[/name_m] [name_m]Jonathan[/name_m] [name_m]Liam[/name_m]

Our little girl will be

______________ [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]

We can not decide on a good fitst name. I feel like we’ve discussed every name imaginable.
So far our front runners are…
[name_f]Kalliope[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], Diem and [name_f]Leila[/name_f]
We are completely open to suggestions.

What do you think would make a good pairing with [name_m]Diesel[/name_m]?

[name_f]Kalliope[/name_f] [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is my favorite with [name_m]Diesel[/name_m].

[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Sakura[/name_f]? That was just the first thing to pop in my mind lol. I like yours like [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and Diem

I second @britkarma’s suggestion of [name_f]Sakura[/name_f]! Goes beautifully with [name_m]Diesel[/name_m].

[name_f]Kalliope[/name_f] [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] also works wonderfully.

I’m not a fan of [name_f]Sakura[/name_f] with [name_m]Diesel[/name_m]. I don’t think they fit well together. They are very different.

Maybe another word name?

[name_f]Sonnet[/name_f] [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]

I’ve thought about that!
[name_u]Fable[/name_u], [name_u]Lyric[/name_u], [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f]…
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f] technically is a word name because it is a musical instrument.
Diem technically is too bc most people know it’s Latin for day- carpe diem, per diem.

I’m just stuck. Boy names are easy for me. Girl names are hard.
I think it has to have that same cool factor [name_m]Diesel[/name_m] has. I couldn’t do [name_m]Diesel[/name_m] and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
I’ve thought about [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] bc my dad’s name is [name_m]Leon[/name_m] but she’s going to be born in [name_f]April[/name_f].
Hubby vetoed [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], Ellanora and a few other names.
I vetoed [name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].
I like names with L’s in them
It’s not a requirement but something I’ve noticed.

It also doesn’t help that I’m a teacher so i have a ton of name association issues, LOL.

What about…

[name_f]Lulu[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Cerys[/name_f]
[name_f]Cicely[/name_f]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Vienna[/name_f]
[name_f]Capri[/name_f]

[name_f]Danna[/name_f]
[name_f]Danica[/name_f]
[name_f]Davina[/name_f]
[name_f]Daria[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Della[/name_f]
[name_f]Deanna[/name_f]
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]

[name_f]Afternoon[/name_f] [name_f]Winona[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]

I like [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f]!

What about:

[name_f]Laurel[/name_f]
[name_f]Luella[/name_f]
[name_f]Fenella[/name_f]
[name_f]Nova[/name_f]/[name_f]Nola[/name_f]
[name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Saskia[/name_f]
[name_f]Saffron[/name_f]

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Leora[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]

[name_f]Kalliope[/name_f] is by far my favorite, although I prefer the [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] spelling. Diem is just too close; they have the same first three letters. [name_f]Leila[/name_f] would also be pretty.

double post. Nameberry sure is wonky…see below.

The first names that come to mind are [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] and [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] or [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]. I quite like [name_f]Kalliope[/name_f] with it from your list there, though I too prefer the “C” spelling. Another word name would keep the same kind of cool going and there are plenty of those! I like the idea of [name_u]Fable[/name_u] quite a bit, if you don’t mind the similar endings, and [name_f]Sparrow[/name_f]. [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_u]Calypso[/name_u] or [name_f]Callista[/name_f] also come to mind.

I really like [name_f]Kalliope[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]! I think either of those would work wonderfully.

Here’s some random suggestions.

[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Lizette[/name_f]

Good luck!

I like [name_f]Kalliope[/name_f] ([name_f]Calliope[/name_f]) and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] to.

[name_f]Elara[/name_f]
[name_f]Ilsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Electra[/name_f]
[name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Thalia[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Kalliope[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] as well…
