Sister for Georgia

My beautiful little Georgia is only three and a half weeks old, but of course, I’m thinking about her future sibling already! For some reason, since having her, I really feel like my second future child will also be a girl (though of course, I have no way of knowing that). I’m curious which names on our girl list could you see best with Georgia? I’m just going to do first names for now!

  • Edith
  • Fiona

  • Lorelei
  • Mabel
  • Phoebe
  • Rosemary

These are my top picks too!

I had a similar experience with my son. I think it’s easier to picture a sibling of the same sex since it’s what you know.

[name_f]Mabel[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] are so gorgeous with [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]!

I chose two syllable, stylistically similar names whose first letter comes after G in the alphabet to narrow it down [name_f][/name_f]- but really all of your choices go nicely with [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]

I think what I love most about [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is the warmth, and I think [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] matches that warm, friendly, slightly quirky energy the absolute best. But I also love [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] for their shared earthy vibes and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] for how good they look on paper (the oe in [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] being the exact inverse of the eo in [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is so satisfying). They echo each other while each having their own identity.

I voted for almost all so I’m going to narrow down a little more and give my top 3 as [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] & [name_f]Violet[/name_f] sound cohesive but distinct and complement one another so well. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] & [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] bring the same bright, warm vibes. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] & [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] really shine together. I think Georgia’s classic qualities help bring [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] up to date, and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] herself is such a sweet and precious sparkle of a name!
