Hello, we are expecting our third and we would like to keep the name starting with an H.
We currently have a 9 year old son, Hunter and a 3 year old daughter, Hazel.
The names we have been considering are:
Hattie, Harlow, Heidi and Hailey.
Our three year old has basically named the baby Hattie, while our son prefers Harlow, and my husband and the grandmothers prefer Heidi.
We generally use family names for middle names. If the baby is names Hattie that would cover the family name. If the baby is named one of the other choices then middle names would likely be Hattie or Johanne or Clare or Josephine ( the grandmothers first or middle names) .
I’m just at the point of needing a name to decrease my stress and wanting to keep Hunter, Hazel and Husband all happy as well HELP !
Ohhh, [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] are so lovely!!! Both just perfection!! [name_u]Clare[/name_u] would also be divine as a middle. Such beautiful choices.
I think that with [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] sound really lovely. They “go” really well with sister [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], sharing a sweet, vintage vibe. I might think that [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] was a boy with siblings [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], or that they were all three girls. That’s just my personal take!
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is gorgeous. [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] is darling with [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]. [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u] would be beautiful as well.
[name_f]Hailey[/name_f] shares the beginning sounds with [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], so I wouldn’t use that one. [name_u]Harlow[/name_u] seems a bit unisex with [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] as a big sister, but it does fit with [name_u]Hunter[/name_u]. [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] has always seemed a bit stuffy to me. It seems a little out of place with [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u].
Of your options, I love [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]! It is one of my favorites and IMO fits perfectly with [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] and [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], without a repeating beginning or being too close.
For middles, either [name_u]Clare[/name_u] (another of my favs) or [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] or [name_f]Johanne[/name_f] works. I think any of those options would be adorable!
agree that [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] are both super sweet! how do you feel about [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]? [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_u]Clare[/name_u], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u], and [name_u]Hunter[/name_u]
Alongside [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] I think [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] or [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] are similar in style and fit nicely. I love…
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f] [name_f]Johanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]! So sweet and bright!
[name_f]Hattie[/name_f] would be my next pick, then [name_u]Harlow[/name_u]. [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] is nice but close in sound to [name_u]Hazel[/name_u].
[name_u]Hadley[/name_u] “Haddie” feels similar to [name_u]Harlow[/name_u], similiar in sound to [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] and [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] too
i think hattie fits the best with hunter and hazel! i quite like hattie josephine
all of your choices would work quite well, though! my only hesitation is with hailey, since it and hazel both start with the “hay” sound and that might be a bit confusing.
[name_f]Heidi[/name_f]! I love, absolutely adore [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]! I really wish we could have a 3rd daughter so we could use the name, ha! It’s just so charming.
I also really like [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]. A very sweet name.
But I really can’t get over [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]!
