Please help me narrow down this list of potential first names for our little girl, due in Feb.
She will be a younger sister to our son Justin and son in heaven (Samuel)
Last name is French, begins with L and sounds like Les- Art
Open to suggestions too but so far here is our short list:
-Heidi (*sentimental value- what my late father wanted to name me)
-Hailey
-Colette
-Elise
-Brenna
-Olivia (always my fave but afraid not too common)
Middle name TBD as well… will have to be mindful of initials.
I think [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is so lovely so it is the winner for me. [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] is a great name too. [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] would be nice in the middle spot if it works with the fn you choose especially since it is a favourite.
I think [name_f]Colette[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f] are my favorites! Both have a [name_u]French[/name_u] charm that I really like, and go very well with your sons’ names. I do also like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but it is very popular - maybe it’s a middle name option?

I really like [name_f]Elise[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f] but if I’m pronouncing your surname correctly, they both repeat a lot of sounds in it. I might be mispronouncing the surname though, so try saying both of these out loud with it and see if they work for you.
I like Heidi’s sentimental connection here and unless you really love it on its own merits I think it would be a great middle name.
I’ve always really liked [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] as well and I think I like it with your surname and with [name_m]Justin[/name_m].
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] is lovely but yes, very popular. [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] is a name I’m not fond of but for no solid reason - objectively I think it’s fine.
One name that came to me when I read your post was [name_u]Simone[/name_u]! [name_u]French[/name_u] feel but well known enough elsewhere that I think it would be easy to wear.
