Although they are both very nice names…[name]Gwyneth[/name] doesn’t really match with [name]Nina[/name]. I think [name]Clara[/name] is your best bet out of the 2.
[name]Clara[/name] is one of my favorite names. Sweet, fresh and classic. [name]Clara[/name] [name]Ruth[/name] and [name]Nina[/name] sound great together.
Never been a huge fan of [name]Gwyneth[/name]. I have always preferred other similar names, for example [name]Guinevere[/name] and [name]Gwendolen[/name]. [name]Gwyneth[/name] always sounded whiny to me.
I voted for [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Gwyneth[/name]. [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] are a little too same-y for me. I think [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Gwyneth[/name] are a little more distinct but complementary.
I voted for [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Clara[/name] because they have the same kind of feel to them.
Thanks everyone! The second child has been so much more difficult for us to name! I think we’ve been over so many names! I’m confident we’ll find the perfect fit though. Here is how some of my discussions go with my husband:
Hubs: [name]How[/name] about [name]Marisa[/name]?
Me: [name]How[/name] about [name]Marilla[/name]?
Hubs: [name]How[/name] about GORILLA?
Me: [name]How[/name] about [name]Susannah[/name]?
Hubs: “Oh [name]Susannah[/name]…my daughter’s name you will not be”
Me: We could call her [name]Zuzu[/name].
Hubs: [name]ZUZU[/name]?!?! [name]Ah[/name] No.
I do like [name]Marilla[/name]
I’m with your hubby. [name]Marilla[/name] is like Gorilla.
I like [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Gwenyth[/name]. [name]Don[/name]'t you think [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name] sound so sweet?
I do think [name]Nina[/name] and [name]Gwen[/name] sound so sweet together! I will have to think of the spelling too…because I like [name]Gwen[/name] better than [name]Gwyn[/name] for a girl. [name]Gwenyth[/name]. Hmmmm! I’m so relieved to have two good options though!
We like the middle name [name]Hope[/name] as we have unexpectedly got admitted to the hospital, but baby girl is showing no signs of distress and is being so good!!!
However, if she ends up being [name]Gwenyth[/name] [name]Hope[/name] or [name]Gwyneth[/name] [name]Hope[/name]…Her initials would be GHB! Not good initials!
Oh I hear you on GHB! I posted once about [name]Grace[/name] [name]Helena[/name] B. Pretty mixed reaction - a surprising number of people didn’t get it, and some people thought it wasn’t that bad. [name]Plenty[/name] thought it was bad though, and sadly I think I do too (and I love [name]Grace[/name] [name]Helena[/name]). [name]Gwyneth[/name]/[name]Gwenyth[/name] [name]Esperanza[/name]/[name]Esperance[/name]? Or another name with a positive middle?
I can see the charm of either [name]Clara[/name] or [name]Gwyneth[/name] with [name]Nina[/name]. What about [name]Clara[/name] [name]Hope[/name], no initial concern then.
This is incredibly hard for me, I love both names! I think I would go with [name]Gwyneth[/name] today, though it really is a toss up.
