I have [name_m]Abel[/name_m], [name_f]Olive[/name_f], [name_f]Fern[/name_f] & [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
I feel like I’ve thought of everything but maybe a suggestion will give me fresh inspo.
[name_f][/name_f]
Would prefer 2 or less syllables.
[name_f][/name_f]
I obviously love nature names but want more understated. I like [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] and [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] but feel like they are too “hip” sounding [name_f][/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
Any suggestions? [name_f][/name_f]Thanks in advance!
I absolutely adore your set! So precious. I have a few ideas, but I want to second [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] in particular. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] are both adorable, but [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] shares the short sweet, gently old fashioned vibes of your other girls.
[name_f][/name_f]
Might I suggest:
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- not a nature name, but a word name with some gentle, whispery literary vibes. And I love the carefree imagery.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Wren[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- Going along with [name_f]Birdie[/name_f], I think there are many bird names that are lovely. [name_f]Wren[/name_f] is my personal favourite for your set, but I also like [name_m]Robin[/name_m] or [name_f]Lark[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- I also like [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] for you, but [name_f]Iris[/name_f] feels slightly more distinctive while still fitting in with the sister names. I love how it references both the flower and rainbows [name_f][/name_f]- two nature names in one! Similar name [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] might also strike your fancy?
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is so trim and underrated, and I think people forget that she’s a nature/time name in her own right. I think she matches your other babies’ “why didn’t I think of that” blend of surprising but familiar. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] do sound a bit similar [name_f][/name_f]- I think they’re distinctive enough to work as sisters, but your mileage may vary on that.
[name_f][/name_f]
I also looked at the nature names lists here and on britishbabynames for ideas [name_f][/name_f]- that might be a good place to poke around if you haven’t already.
As I said when commenting on [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] vs [name_f]Bay[/name_f] post your kiddos are adorably named!
[name_f][/name_f]
Looking at your ideas of [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] & [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] I think both names are gorgeous. [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] feels fun, chirpy and has a sweet vintage flair. [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is bright, full of sunshine, has warm colours attached along with [name_f][/name_f] the adorable nickname [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]. I actually think just [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] would work wonders with your kiddos so this could be a lovely idea. However I think [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] visually is more in keeping with your kiddos. She’s short, sweet and has a vintage flair which works with your kids nicely.
[name_f][/name_f]
You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries
[name_f]My[/name_f] first thought is [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. After that, what strikes me is that all the girls have what could be color names. As Oliv3 and F3rn are greens, [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] needs a matching iridescent friend so [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is my vote. Maybe even just [name_f]Jewel[/name_f] as a neutral. Other nature names include [name_f]Neve[/name_f], [name_f]Snow[/name_f] (as a middle maybe), [name_m]Frost[/name_m] (more boyish but an option for middle also), [name_f]Bianca[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Norah[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f].
Oh my gosh, your kids’ names are amazing. [name_f][/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
I think that [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] is cute, but it’s a little too cute as a full name for me. [name_f][/name_f] I like it as a nn for [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] or [name_f]Bernadette[/name_f] better.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f] is beautiful. [name_f][/name_f] It’s long compared to the other kids’, but not a deal breaker if you love it.
Thank you! Ooh I love [name_f]Rue[/name_f]. This was a reminder to add it to my short list, especially because I didn’t even realize it was a botanical name
With this set, I would say [name_f]Ruby[/name_f] although maybe with [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] it’s a bit much? [name_f]My[/name_f] other favorite with this set would be [name_f]Dana[/name_f] (day-nah).
[name_f][/name_f]
More “traditional” others: [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Maren[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], [name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f]
Less common but still fit the vibe IMO: [name_f]Ivette[/name_f], [name_f]Sasha[/name_f], [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], [name_f]Blair[/name_f], [name_f]Dana[/name_f],
