After months of dreaming of a sibling for our little [name_m]Otis[/name_m] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], it’s finally happened! We’re not finding out the gender but I’d love some input with some girls names as I find them harder than boys names.
We both love [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] but I’m worried about the [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] Wilde connection as her kids are [name_m]Otis[/name_m] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
We also both love [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] but friends have chosen those names.
[name_m]Otis[/name_m] was going to be [name_f]Willow[/name_f] if he was a girl but it’s become really popular now.
I like names that are a little bit different but not too out there. [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f] were on my list for ages but my partner doesn’t like them.
Any ideas would be appreciative and I’ll add them to my list!
I agree that the Olivia Wilde association is too much. I’d also avoid obvious word name as that could make them sound too much like pet names
Otis and Matilda
Otis and Freya

Otis and Eliana
Otis and Eloise
Otis and Millie
Otis and Zara
Otis and Lydia

Otis and Trinity (these two sound really nice together)
Otis and Myra

I know some of these names may not seem like your taste but they sound gorgeous with Otis.
I agree with the above. I didn’t know [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] Wilde’s kids’ names until you mentioned it. I’m all for [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], I think it’s fresh and charming.
I love [name_m]Otis[/name_m], great job naming him. Ideas for sister:
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
[name_f]Gilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]
[name_f]Melba[/name_f]
[name_f]Sonia[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
Had no idea about [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] WIlde’s kids, most people don’t know about her kids names, and God knows if she’ll be relevant in a few years. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t let that stop you from using [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], it’s a beautiful name and goes so well with [name_m]Otis[/name_m].
I like -y/ie ending names with [name_m]Otis[/name_m], similar to [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], cute and vintage. Like [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], [name_u]Jessie[/name_u], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_f]Sally[/name_f]…
I recently read a blog about two siblings named [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f] & [name_m]Otis[/name_m]. I don’t know if that’s too out there for you though! Lots of lovely suggestions here already. [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is very sweet too!
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] or [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] immediately came to my mind for siblings for [name_m]Otis[/name_m].
Thank you all so much for your replies. So many of you really understand my tastes!
My favourites from your lists include:
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] - not sure if it has too many O’s with [name_m]Otis[/name_m].
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] - a friend just had a [name_f]Frida[/name_f] after a [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f].
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f] - my [name_m]SIL[/name_m]
[name_u]Stevie[/name_u] - a good friends daughter
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] - [name_m]Otis[/name_m]’s best friend
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] - could work as an alternative to [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] this! But so many friends have used it.
[name_f]Betsy[/name_f]/[name_f]Betty[/name_f] - love this too but last name starts with a B.
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f] - definitely my style and not too popular.
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f] - love how it’s nit very popular but hard to use in Australia due to a certain song.
