Our newest little girl is due in late [name_u]June[/name_u]. So far we have been blessed with 2 red heads, [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] [name_u]Madison[/name_u] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. We aren’t necessarily looking for another “R” name. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes the names [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]. I would love some suggestions.
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] does go with your sibset. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite out of your choices is [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and then [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].
What about:
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and…
[name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], and:
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f], [name_f]Camille[/name_f], [name_f]Heidi[/name_f], [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Jillian[/name_f], [name_u]Julianne[/name_u], [name_f]Melody[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalia[/name_f], [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f], [name_f]Silvia[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_u]Alexis[/name_u], [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], or [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]
I second the suggestion if [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]… So adorable!
From your list, I like [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] the best. [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] might fit the subset the best but I like how [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is different, actually.
Other suggestions:
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] or [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]! (From your list). [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] seems too planned [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
I love the suggestions of [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]. [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] are both Hebrew names, so if you want to stick to that, then [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_f]Abigail[/name_f] seem like good options.
Other Hebrew origin ideas:
[name_f]Carol/name_f
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - really love this! [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. Stunning!
[name_f]Leora[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
[name_f]Danielle[/name_f]
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f]
[name_f]Kayla[/name_f]
[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f]
[name_f]Sarah[/name_f]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] [name_u]Madison[/name_u], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], and …
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Magdalene[/name_f].
[name_f]Giselle[/name_f].
[name_f]Mamie[/name_f].
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f].
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
I actually like the idea of carrying on your R theme. [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] is pretty and so are [name_f]Renee[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f].
If you want to look outside the box you could also use a name that has an R nickname like [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] ([name_u]Randy[/name_u]), [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] or [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] ([name_u]Rory[/name_u]), [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] ([name_u]Ren[/name_u]), [name_f]Loraine[/name_f] ([name_u]Rain[/name_u] or [name_f]Reina[/name_f]).
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] ? I love the thought of another biblical name… [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] or hannah tie in without continuing the ‘r’ theme! I personally wouldn’t go another ‘r’ name but I like the thought of something ‘r’ heavy like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f].
I love the R + Hebrew/Biblical pattern so I’d say [name_f]Rachel[/name_f].
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] defiantly fits best with your daughters’ names, for combos I love [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], or [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. From the suggestions I have to second [name_f]Rose[/name_f] ([name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] would be gorgeous, or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Elena[/name_f]) and [name_f]Esther[/name_f]. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is defiantly my favorite. It goes great with [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], personally [name_f]Esther[/name_f] is one of my favorite Bible woman, and while it doesn’t start with “r” it ends with one so it ties in nicely with the older girls’ names. [name_f]Esther[/name_f] would pair well with any name on your list except [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] for a combo. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], and [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]. Now the only names I can think of that haven’t already been suggested are [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], or even just [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is such a classic, but not often used any more, and I just adore [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] and feel she ought to be used more.
[name_f]Rachel[/name_f] is nice, but if you want to break the R pattern but stick with Biblical, how about [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f] or [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (and ALL the nickname possibilities she offers!)?
[name_f]My[/name_f] husband loathes [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. :0/ I haven’t come across biblical names I like better. [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] rolls off the tongue rather nicely and I like the suggestions of [name_f]Jillian[/name_f], though it would probably be a middle name. I also like [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]. Wish it was a biblical name or a nickname of a biblical name so I could call her [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]. I’ve thought about [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] with [name_f]Heidi[/name_f] as a nickname but not sure that dh would go for that.
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] {and} [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] or [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] from your list would be perfect!
Also:
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] {and}
[name_f]Abigail[/name_f], [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], [name_f]Miriam[/name_f]
I really like the idea of [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] nn [name_f]Heidi[/name_f]! Not a nn I would have thought of for [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f], but there’s potential there if you can get your husband on board!
