[name_f]Sister[/name_f] to [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Azalea[/name_f]- afraid the meaning “dry” doesn’t stand up to auroras, but love the matching syllables and A-A. Also name has a meaning for my husband and I
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f]- was my dream name as a child, didn’t go with it for first daughter because we wanted a surprise and everyone expected it. Still adore the name and have a strong attachment to it.
[name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f]- feels whimsical, like aurora. They both happen to be princesses. Although we like disney, the names weren’t chosen for that reason. Feels somewhat romantic and magical, like aurora
I think [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is too similar in sound to [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], which I love, by the way. My pick would be [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. Here are some other ideas that come to mind:
I think [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is too similar in sound to [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], which I love, by the way. My pick would be [name_f]Autumn[/name_f]. Here are some other ideas that come to mind:
[name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] is elegant, fresh, and majestic. I love the [name_f]Esme[/name_f] nickname for [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f]. Also [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] has the lovely ‘emerald’ meaning which is just as beautiful as [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]'s meaning of ‘dawn’. Furthermore I think [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] could be the better choice as she wouldn’t be as limiting regarding future children, whereas I think choosing another ‘a’ name could be. For example I think sibling sets like [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], [name_f]Azura[/name_f] & [name_f]Anais[/name_f] look visually better compared to [name_f]Avalon[/name_f], [name_f]Azura[/name_f] & [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. The name with the different starting initial looks strange and this could apply to you if you use another ‘a’ name regarding future children if you begin to like a ‘c’ name for example.
I think [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] is the best choice for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]'s sister.
I really like [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. They are a darling pair!
I like [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] but it feels a little mismatched with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] to me. So does [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]. But that could just be me so if of course if you love it, use it.
At first I thought I didn’t really like [name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] but on second thought I think it works quite nicely with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] as well though. However I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Azalea[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Azalea[/name_f] is bright, bold and unique and pairs well with [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. Neither name outshines the other.
[name_f]Autumn[/name_f] is just “okay” for me…it feels like a late 80’s / early 90’s name to me, sister to a [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], [name_f]Summer[/name_f] or [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f]. Probably for that reason, it just doesn’t come across as magical or special to me. That being said, I have a name I am holding on to and I’m scared that when I have a baby I’ll be tired of it running through my brain and choose something else. That scares me because I love the name. I’m ttc and this dream baby with my fave name is what keeps me going. So I know attachments can be strong and if it’s what you love the most you should 1000% use it.
[name_f]Esmeralda[/name_f] is my 2nd pick after [name_f]Azalea[/name_f]. It’s dramatic, elegant and has the regal, princess vibe like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f].
When I read the headline, sister for [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], I instantly thought [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]. But I think I like your existing options more.
I say [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], although I think all your choices are lovely. But going with a name you’ve always loved is something you’ll never regret.
