We have one boy named [name_m]Brady[/name_m] [name_m]Cameron[/name_m] and one girl named [name_f]Myla[/name_f] [name_f]June[/name_f]. We have a girl on the way and can’t decide on a name! Her middle name will be [name_f]May[/name_f]. Some names we already like:
Of the names you both like, [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] are my favorites. [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Myla[/name_f] are a bit too close for me. [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] feels quite 90s, and I don’t like the flow of [name_f]May[/name_f] with [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
Thank you for the suggestions! I like [name_f]Lena[/name_f] and [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] too but Hubby didn’t. I agree with [name_f]Hailey[/name_f], I told hubby it felt too common/90s for me as well
From your list, I really like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]! I think it ties the sibset together really well. I do also really like [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]. Some other options:
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Lena[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassidy[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_m]Brady[/name_m] and [name_f]Myla[/name_f] sound so lovely together! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites of your options are [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f], because they both have that soft, friendly feel of [name_m]Brady[/name_m] and [name_f]Myla[/name_f]. I agree with the PP in saying that [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] feels a little dated now, and [name_f]Layla[/name_f] and [name_f]Myla[/name_f] are too similar. [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is pretty but feels too modern, and the “st” sound is a lot against the gentle sounds of [name_m]Brady[/name_m] and [name_f]Myla[/name_f].
Some more suggestion for you:
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
Emilia/Amelia [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Aubrey[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
Thank you! That’s what I was going for, soft and friendly, so you’re right in that [name_f]Stella[/name_f] might not work with that. I agree [name_f]Layla[/name_f] is too close to [name_f]Myla[/name_f], I was worried about that
My absolute favourite name for a sister for Brady and Myla is Elena May. I love Elena and its many nicknames / variants such as Eleni / Lena / Leni / Elle / Ella / Ellie
My second and third would be Ava May and Hailey May (Halle May would also be cute for a more modern take on Hailey)
While I personally also love Layla, I find it so close to Myla (even though I know they don’t rhyme) I think because both contain yla at the end and May is also super close to Myla (just missing the L) that Myla and Layla feel too close to see them as sisters
And I love Stella (my kitty is named Stella!) and I do like Nora, but I think if one of you doesn’t like the name I don’t think they’re the best contenders since you both should love / like the name you end up choosing
Some names similar to Stella are - Bella / Della / Elodie / Nella / Nova / Willa / Zella
Some names similar to Nora are - Alora / Cara / Cora / Dara / Lara / Mara / Zara
Of these names, I like [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] best. But if your husband does not like [name_f]Stella[/name_f], I also like [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] with your other kids’ names.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite of your options is [name_f]Ava[/name_f]! I also like [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] but am personally not a fan of how is shares the same vowel sounds as [name_m]Brady[/name_m].
First of all, knowing that you are not both deeply in love with [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f], I would eliminate those opinions.
I think [name_f]Myla[/name_f] and [name_f]Layla[/name_f] are quite similar, so I would eliminate that option as well.
I like the idea of [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] for your 3rd baby, but again, you don’t seem to love it. If your husband doesn’t care for [name_f]Lena[/name_f], I don’t believe [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is the perfect choice either.
That leaves [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] is lovely! It flows beautifully. I think it sounds wonderful with [name_f]Myla[/name_f] and [name_m]Brady[/name_m].
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] is gorgeous, but considering the middle name, in my opinion [name_f]Ava[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] has a nicer flow.
It’s funny because [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] are my two favorites. [name_f]My[/name_f] thirst favorite is [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]!
Really love [name_f]Emma[/name_f], it’s so soft and goes well with [name_f]Myla[/name_f] and [name_m]Brady[/name_m]! I also love [name_f]Elena[/name_f], however I would spell it [name_f]Elaina[/name_f].
[name_f]Hailey[/name_f] feels too…common for me? It’s a widely used name and just doesn’t seem to fit in with [name_f]Myla[/name_f] and [name_m]Brady[/name_m].
How horrible would it be if we named her [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] even though we have a last name that starts with M too? Is that wayyyyy too many M’s? We just love the name though
I don’t think that’s horrible at all, especially seeing as people are rarely referred to by their full legal name – mostly she’d be [name_f]Emma[/name_f] M______ or just [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there! I like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] the most of your choices. So lovely! And I would be okay with the “M” sound in your last name too.
