I’d love any suggestions for a name that would go well with our first, [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name]. Our last name is VERY short (only 3 letters, one syllable), so I’d prefer a first name that does not have a monosyllabic nickname. Names we are considering include [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Camilla[/name], [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Natalia[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], and [name]Vivienne[/name]. We weren’t able to decide on a name until after our baby was born the first time around and I’m hoping to avoid that this time!
I think [name]Genevieve[/name], [name]Penelope[/name], and [name]Felicity[/name] sound particularly nice with [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name], which is beautiful by the way The only one I would ditch is [name]Camilla[/name], [name]Camilla[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] seem awfully close to be sisters to me but any of the others would make a fantastic choice!
Thank you! You are absolutely right about [name]Camilla[/name] (and [name]Natalia[/name] might be too similar as well). I’m probably unconsciously drawn to names that sound similar to [name]Amelia[/name] and should take those off my list.
I love [name]Felicity[/name] with [name]Amelia[/name]. [name]Amelia[/name] sounds close to amiable. it’s a friendly name. I think [name]Felicity[/name] works well with that. [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] is sparkly and cheerful. I like [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Mirabelle[/name] as well. [name]Mirabelle[/name] contains the “MI” sound you like, but it’s quite different from [name]Amelia[/name].
Hmmm… I am going to go for [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] & [name]Celeste[/name] [name]Natalia[/name]!
Good luck!
Your list sounds great! I would add [name]Louisa[/name] to the list. I’m biased since it’s my daughter’s name, but it’s an underused classic in my opinion, and the style is similar to [name]Amelia[/name].
[name]Amelia[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] is stunning, and I love [name]Genevieve[/name] w/it.
I absolutely love the name [name]Felicity[/name]! It is so beautiful and whimsical on it’s own and it also matches style and sounds great with [name]Amelia[/name].
[name]Genevieve[/name] and [name]Charlotte[/name] are pretty as well, but I don’t think they quite match the femininity of [name]Amelia[/name]. I would love to see you use another classic-with-a-flourish middle name to match up with [name]Juliet[/name]. [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Vivienne[/name] is lovely; Other suggestions might be:
[name]Felicity[/name] [name]Cosette[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Diana[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Magnolia[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Nadine[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Olympia[/name], or [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Violette[/name] (or [name]Violet[/name]). Good luck! =]
I think [name]Felicity[/name] works best as a sister for [name]Amelia[/name]. The name [name]Genevieve[/name] is beautiful, but I feel like it is a lot more formal and serious than [name]Amelia[/name]. [name]Felicity[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] are both sweet and friendly names that would make an adorable sib set. That being said, choose the name you love the most, and don’t worry about them sounding perfect together!
For [name]Felicity[/name], I like these mns: [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Josephine[/name], [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Louisa[/name]
What a beautiful name your daughter has! I think [name]Arabella[/name] would be a perfect name for her little sister - it has some pleasing similarities but is certainly different enough and doesn’t have a monosyllabic nickname.
[name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Vivienne[/name] are lovely choices.
[name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name] by a country mile for me.
Oh and second would be [name]Vivienne[/name].
Thank you for the suggestion- [name]Louisa[/name] is lovely! I have added it to our list. And congratulations on your baby boy
Those are wonderful suggestions for middle names! Thank you so much!
