sister to dexter(part two)

I posted earlier about naming my daughter [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] but decided against it seen that I pronounce it differently. Two of the other names I mentioned was [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_u]Sloane[/name_u].and I am also thinking of [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] now with the nn [name_u]Frankie[/name_u]. so out of those three which is yoir favorite? Any suggestion names?
Ps we do call dexter dex a lot of the time if that makes a difference

[name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]? I think it is by far the prettiest of the names you’ve picked.

I say it like [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] just minus the a. I’m also thinking of [name_u]Hadley[/name_u],what do you think?

So, ‘sess-EEL-ee’?

I like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u] and [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] with [name_u]Dexter[/name_u]

I like [name_u]Hadley[/name_u]. [name_f]Cecile[/name_f] would be how your pronouncing it I believe. I like that too!

That’s ‘sess-eel’ though. [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] (sess-eel-ee-a) without an ‘a’ is what she said.

I agree that [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is the prettiest name you have. I think it’s fine to name her [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] and pronounce it however you like. People will get used to it. (ie. There are 2 ways to pronounce meghan/megan: me-ghan and meg-an, and that’s fine).

Isn’t seh-seal-ee the way you pronounce [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]? Isn’t it normally pronounced the same was as [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] minus the a?

Yes but after many people telling me that would just be confusing I decided to just pick something different

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] and [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] nn [name_m]Dex[/name_m]

[name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] would be perfect! Nicknames [name_m]Dex[/name_m] and [name_f]Emme[/name_f] ([name_f]Emme[/name_f] is pronounced M-ee. Same as [name_f]Emmy[/name_f], just different spelling).

Theyre all really cute names!–I like [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] with [name_u]Dexter[/name_u]—I like [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] too–I say Sess-ill-ee—Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]–

I never thought of the nn emme for [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] I’m really liking that!

[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] & [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] are fantastic together. Not a fan of [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] or [name_f]Francesca[/name_f].

I have to say that [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is by far the best. [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] is such a hip, handsome name and it needs an equally cool, sophisticated sibling name and [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] totally fits that bill. I definitely prefer the pronunciation of Sess-ill-ee, but however you choose to pronounce it is up to you.

My second choice would be [name_f]Clementine[/name_f].
