[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there,
I am struggling with a sister’s name for [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] [name_f]Greta[/name_f] Haag (GG).
The baby was due yesterday!
What about [name_f]Fern[/name_f]? I prefer this to [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] and [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] and [name_f]Fern[/name_f] sound like great sister names!
My favourites from your list are [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Neve[/name_f] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] is best style wise, but I’m not keen on the matching endings.
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] is my favorite. I also like [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], [name_f]Minnie[/name_f], [name_f]Harlow[/name_f], and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u].
My favourites are [name_f]Hazel[/name_f], Freyja and [name_f]Alba[/name_f], but I think stylistically they go better with [name_f]Greta[/name_f] than with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]. It’s a tricky one!
I think with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] the best choices from your list are [name_u]Wren[/name_u], Reve, [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] and [name_u]Fable[/name_u].
[name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is an adorable vintage sounding name!
[name_f]Fawn[/name_f] - it’s a pretty but for me I prefer as a middle name teamed with something stronger Suggestion [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Fawn[/name_f]?
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] - A spunky floral name that has attractive connotations regarding the lucky four leaf clovers. I think [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] & [name_f]Clover[/name_f] sounds pretty.
[name_u]Dusty[/name_u] - I work as a supervisor for a clothes shop and for me the word dusty is associated with something negative ‘oh that’s so dusty… it needs to be cleaned asap’ and therefore for me this really unattractive. Also even if I didn’t have that association as a name it feels like it belongs to an ageing cowboy. This is despite the association with the singer [name_u]Dusty[/name_u] Springfield.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] - It’s a delicate name. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] sounds pretty and has a wintry vibe. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] stylistically sounds strange to [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]. [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] feels to vibrant teamed with [name_u]Wren[/name_u].
[name_f]Neve[/name_f] - [name_f]Neve[/name_f] is a pretty name with the meaning ‘snow’ it eats into the nature theme. I do prefer [name_f]Niamh[/name_f] the Irish spelling which has the upbeat meaning ‘bright’ anyway I think [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] & [name_f]Niamh[/name_f]/[name_f]Neve[/name_f] are great.
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] - Despite the fact that everyone loves [name_f]Hazel[/name_f] I haven’t jumped onto that bandwagon. For me I’m not keen on [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
Freyja - Freyja is a pretty Nordic name but for me it just to delicate and formal teamed with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]. [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is just such a vibrant upbeat name with a dusty vintage feel. It clashes stylistically with Freyja. They are completely different names.
[name_u]Fable[/name_u] - I think [name_u]Fable[/name_u] is an intriguing name. [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] & [name_u]Fable[/name_u] sound really sweet together it’s a pretty combination.
[name_f]Sabre[/name_f] - Not my style…
Reve - I think this is a pretty middle name choice but she hasn’t got the personality to work with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f].
[name_f]Minnie[/name_f] - This is the type of name that I would team [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] with. Something vintage, with a charming old relic vibe. A name like that works so well with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] and makes a charming sibling set. [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] itself is a great name with pretty vintage sound. It’s just lovely.
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is a great name but I am not keen on it teamed with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]. [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is trendy which [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is not.
[name_m]Rudi[/name_m] - For me this feels trendy with the random ‘i’ ending, the spelling [name_u]Rudy[/name_u] is far better. However moving away from the spelling, it’s a boys name. The Hungarian variation of [name_m]Rudolph[/name_m]. It just doesn’t work.
[name_f]Alba[/name_f] - Another fabulous name! [name_f]Alba[/name_f] eats into the nature name category that you seem to love with the meaning white. She also has that vintage flair that [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] has. [name_f]Alba[/name_f] is an adorable upbeat name. So pretty. This is my favourite from your list followed by [name_f]Minnie[/name_f].
[name_m]Albee[/name_m] - Feels like a nickname for [name_f]Alba[/name_f]. The spelling is visually off. It just isn’t great.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - I wish I could get the sound of ‘Jew nipper’ out of my head but I just can’t and as somebody whose mother is Jewish it’s awkward. Therefore I just really dislike [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]. However I think [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is really great and sounds good with [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] also another name that could work even better and has that vintage flair is [name_f]Junia[/name_f]. [name_f]Junia[/name_f] & [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] is adorable.
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] - I think [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is a pretty name but I would prefer in the middle name slot. I think [name_f]Alba[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] would be adorable.
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] - [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] is just cool but maybe too cool for [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]…
My absolute favourite is [name_f]Alba[/name_f] ~ [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] & [name_f]Alba[/name_f] ~ is utter perfection! Also love [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] : )
I absolutely love [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. It’s one of my favourite names, so evocative of creamy fields of clover buzzing with bees and the sweet smell of honey and freshness and springtime.
