Which one would you pick and why?
Skylar or Skyler?
Do they give you different impressions, images, character traits looks, personalities, anything else? Just wondering if you’d imagine a Skylar to be different from a Skyler in looks, characters etc. or if you get different colors, images etc.
You can also add what you would pick for a boy if you want to.
i have mainly seen [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] for girls and [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] for boys. However, I personally prefer [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] for both.

I prefer [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. I don’t really view the person any different but the name feels more delicate with the ‘e’ spelling and the ‘a’ feels more round? Obtuse? I don’t really know how to describe it but something along those lines

[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] just looks more aesthetically pleasing for
me!
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name choice! I went to school with a [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] who was absolutely wonderful.
[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] makes me think of like, a bright [name_f]Barbie[/name_f] pink or a cheery, bubbly aqua colour, where as [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] feels more rugged and less cheery.

[name_u]Skylar[/name_u]. [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] looks awkward and stunted.
[name_u]Skylar[/name_u] seems more put-together. 2000s, turquoise, chlorine, dolphin-themed accessories.
[name_u]Skyler[/name_u] is more edgy. A skateboarding tween in low-rise jeans.
I’d pick [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] for a boy. If it was between those two, I’d go with [name_u]Skyler[/name_u].

I love both so much and this was my top name for a while. It’s one of the few names that i could see myself using on my child very naturally. I prefer Skylar because to me it’s the standard spelling and Skyler is seen as more unisex. Such a beautiful name though
I think I’d go with [name_u]Skylar[/name_u]! It looks more modern to me than [name_u]Skyler[/name_u]. But my favorite spelling for any gender is the original [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u]!
