It’s technically unisex, but much more common for girls than boys (to the extent that I’d forgotten it was unisex until I had to stop and think about it just now). I don’t love it as a middle name for [name_u]Tate[/name_u], they’re both one syllable names so the flow is a little choppy to my ears.
[name_u]Sloan[/name_u] for a boy is very cool and charming - I like it
[name_u]Tate[/name_u] Sloan/e doesn’t flow for me however
I see Sloan/Sloane as a girls name but it can be used for boys as well.
I think the flow of [name_u]Tate[/name_u] [name_u]Sloan[/name_u] / [name_u]Tate[/name_u] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] is fine
Definitely boy name. I like the sound of [name_u]Sloan[/name_u] [name_u]Tate[/name_u] better.
I’ve only seen it on girls irl- but it sounds masculine to me
It’s unisex–I’ve met people of both genders with the name. Like others said, the flow is a bit off. Have you considered something like [name_u]Tatum[/name_u] [name_u]Sloan[/name_u]?
