I recently acquired a giant african land snail and it is still in need of a name. I’m torn between something overly serious or something silly. Names I have considered are [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f], [name_m]Egidius[/name_m], sprout, [name_m]Balthazar[/name_m], [name_m]Archimedes[/name_m] and Lady bug, but nothing sticks.
Any suggestions?
p.s. snails are hermaphrodites, so anything goes 
[name_m]Egidius[/name_m] is perfect!

As a giant African land snail mom for over twenty years, I have some suggestions. For some reason, I really like snail names that end with -bert, such as Gilbert, Norbert, Hubert, Hilbert, etc. If you want to emphasize your pet’s “snailness”, some funny name ideas are Jelly, Slimy, and Sticky.
