I just couldn’t get myself to vote on [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Katharine[/name_f]. I just really don’t like the K spellings at all, so a/e doesn’t really make a difference to me,
Those aren’t necessarily my favourite spellings of thr name in general though… And I pronounce [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] differently than [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], more like iz-oh-bel rather than iz-uh-bel.
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Katharine[/name_f]: I much prefer the look of [name_f]Katherine[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]/[name_f]Lucie[/name_f]: I suppose [name_f]Lucie[/name_f] would have to spell it out all the time, so I voted for [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]/[name_f]Sofia[/name_f]: I prefer [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] to [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], but [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] to [name_f]Sofie[/name_f]. Weird. Anyways, I voted for [name_f]Sofia[/name_f].
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]: I slightly prefer [name_f]Isobel[/name_f].
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]/[name_f]Maisy[/name_f]: I’ve been thinking about the spelling ever since I added it to my list and I still can’t decide. Today I prefer [name_f]Maisy[/name_f], though.
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] - I want to say Kath-a-rin with [name_f]Katharine[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - I only know [name_f]Lucie[/name_f] as the [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling so I want to pronounce it the [name_m]French[/name_m] way.
[name_f]Sofia[/name_f] - looks a bit warmer to me, a bit more exotic
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] - as I pronounce [name_f]Isobel[/name_f] slightly different
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] - i just prefer the look of -ie over -y when both are legit spellings (most of the time)
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f] (really I don’t have a huge preference but I slightly prefer this aesthetically)
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (definitely, [name_f]Lucie[/name_f] looks so alien to me and it would be misspelled all the time)
[name_f]Sofia[/name_f] (for the island and city; I find [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] quite plain because it’s so similar to [name_f]Sophie[/name_f])
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] (lovely and Scottish, [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f] feels faux-[name_m]French[/name_m] if I’m faulting it)
[name_f]Maisy[/name_f] (for the [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] Mouse reference - no joke!)
