Trying to decide between [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. Opinions please!
[name_m]Both[/name_m] are great names! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a preference between [name_m]Dex[/name_m] and [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]?
I definetly prefer [name_m]Dex[/name_m] to [name_m]Gabe[/name_m]
I prefer [name_u]Dexter[/name_u]. [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] is a nice name; wholesome, friendly, good natured, and handsome. [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] is a character. He has his friendly, down-to-earth, book-lover side and than his adventurous, explorer, creative, and get dirty side.
I prefer [name_m]Dex[/name_m] to [name_m]Gabe[/name_m] also. I think [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] has much more of a ‘cool guy’ vibe, whereas [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] sounds much more serene. They are very different! [name_m]Both[/name_m] are perfectly nice though.
[name_m]Both[/name_m] are fine names but as far as depth of character and historic significance, [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] wins hands down! I have an affinity Biblical names and [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] was one of the archangels. I also like “softer” names for boys so [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] fits that criteria as well. I’m not a nn person so the nickname choices aren’t important to sway me one way or the other.
I like very strong, masculine names, so for that reason I prefer [name_u]Dexter[/name_u] over [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]. I dislike [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] because it’s too soft and feminine sounding for me, and I stay away from Biblical names.
I prefer [name_u]Dexter[/name_u]!!!
