I agree about [name]Alex[/name] and [name]Zach[/name]! Definitely one of our top choices. And [name]Ben[/name] too. [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Reeve[/name] is so great…too bad we really need to continue our two middle name trend, lol. [name]Feel[/name] free to steal it though! :stuck_out_tongue: I think if we go with that we’re going to stick [name]Dashiell[/name] in the middle just because it sounds nice and honors my dad…and it’s your son’s name, correct? I love it.

Oh, you’d be surprised…NYC (especially where I live in downtown Manhattan) is quite liberal, especially compared to where I grew up and was tortured throughout high school. But I’ve still run into plenty of anti-gay people here. Lots of people are quick to criticize us for having biological children as well. But either way, we both really like [name]Gabriel[/name]. And I think it sounds nice with [name]Zach[/name]. And [name]Mia[/name] likes it a lot.

For girls’ names: I mentioned above that I love [name]Heidi[/name] for [name]Adelaide[/name]! And we pronounce [name]Delia[/name] as “DEEL-ya” I guess, but kind of like “[name]DEE[/name]-lee-ah” too. We still really like this name but my sister said it reminds her too much of [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Bedelia[/name], lol. :frowning: Oh, and we had no idea it was a store either…that deters me a little, to be honest.

And we like [name]Romy[/name] far better than [name]Remy[/name]! My partner loves the name [name]Jeremy[/name] but I can’t really get too attached to it. I really prefer [name]Alex[/name], [name]Gabe[/name] and [name]Ben[/name].

Maybe as a middle name though, since I think it’s pretty popular these days. We considered [name]Romilly[/name] briefly but realized it seems like we forced it for the nickname [name]Romy[/name] (since we’re open about loving that nickname).

Like I said, lots of family in the UK, so this is the reaction we had from my sister and her (also British) husband, aside from the whole [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Bedelia[/name] thing. Well, after about a day, he ended up loving it. So maybe the same would happen with your family. And I’m so glad you like the [name]Heidi[/name] nickname. It would be so cute with your other kids!

Aww! I’m glad you like it! We could actually exchange baby gifts…are you TTC anytime soon? I really love your name ideas (I lurk your posts!) and I’d love to see them come true!

And yeah, I called D when we got home to tell him, and he’s furious. He actually wants to complain.The tech was pretty young (and very new to the job, I think) and even though Lo didn’t hear what he said about her name, he actually asked her to her face if she was a Gosselin. As in, [name]Jon[/name] and [name]Kate[/name] Plus 8. Because she’s half Japanese (like [name]Mia[/name] is, and these twins are too). But she’s THREE. I said something like “I don’t think she’s seen that show” lol. But yeah, we’re pretty upset about it - I’m used to getting crap like that, but not about my kids. :expressionless:

I really hope [name]Adelaide[/name] grows on them! D likes it and I really love it. Especially with [name]Benjamin[/name]. Please don’t let the fact that [name]Delia[/name]'s was a mail-order catalog for tweens that was popular in the '90’s deter you from [name]Delia[/name]! That’s like not using [name]Charlotte[/name] b/c of [name]Charlotte[/name] Russe!! [name]Delia[/name] is a great name that goes back to ancient Greece, for God’s sake!

I will be TTC semi soon…the sooner the better, but we need a better place to live, first. As soon as that happens, we’ll start trying! We have major baby fever. I’m hoping that we can start before [name]Christmas[/name] or even earlier, fingers crossed!

Yeah, that’s what we thought too. I’m not very confrontational and as long as it doesn’t happen again, I’ll be okay, but yeah luckily Lo’s only three lol. To be fair (I guess) we’ve been told many times that Lo looks like one of the Gosselin sextuplet girls, so I kind of laughed it off, but I was still irked at him for implying that I can’t be a parent to five kids because of my illnesses. If that’s what he was even implying. I don’t even know.

It’s called Good [name]Luck[/name] [name]Charlie[/name], and I’m pretty sure it’s fairly new. The kids in the family, which are the main characters, are named PJ (boy), [name]Teddy[/name] (girl), [name]Gabe[/name] (boy), and [name]Charlie[/name] (girl). Frankly [name]Gabe[/name] is the only name I like. Their friends are named [name]Emmett[/name] (boy), [name]Ivy[/name] (girl), and [name]Spencer[/name] (boy), so I guess those kids had parents with better taste haha.

I think [name]Gabe[/name] is fine. I knew a kid named [name]Gabrial[/name] and he was never picked on. I do think it sounds a little girly though but its still a very good name expecialy with the nn [name]Gabe[/name]. P.S. you know how you said that you were worry about the names colors clashing well theres this thing called synesthesia where peoples senses are “crossed” for example some one may see names in color when there really black and white or when they see a door slam they may also see brown swirls it pritty hard to understand but its pritty cool! It’s still on the list. :slight_smile: D and I have been talking about it and I think our favorites are [name]Rosemary[/name], [name]Julia[/name], [name]Delia[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name] for girls, and [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Gabriel[/name] for boys. That’s roughly in the order we like them. I really like reading people’s ideas for middle names and twin combinations! I’ve been writing them all down.

[name]Lyndsay[/name], I feel like you’ve been reading my mind! lol. I’ve been really obsessed with the combination [name]Romy[/name] and [name]Gabe[/name] all night. After we put the kids to bed we had a really long discussion about the name [name]Gabe[/name] and we actually think it could work. We think it sounds weird with our Scandinavian last name, but we love [name]Gabe[/name] and [name]Romy[/name] as twins. It may be a little too different from our other kids, though.

And we also love [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Ben[/name]! I think if we go with [name]Julia[/name] her twin will definitely be [name]Benjamin[/name]. To me, these colors match up the best, lol. And they’re classic names that sound really nice together and with our other kids. [name]Camille[/name], [name]Zachary[/name], [name]Laura[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Ben[/name]. I think it looks really good. We’re just not sure about middle names (but good news: D likes [name]Dashiell[/name] a lot for a mn!).

I think we’d pair [name]Delia[/name] with [name]Alexander[/name], like you said! [name]Even[/name] though the names don’t really match up in terms of sound and style, their colors (to me) look so perfect together…green and blue. And she also suggested the name [name]Jayden[/name] for a boy…lol. I dont want to be the parypooper but if the baby became twins very late, its probably identical twins (and in that case I think it are two boys because of the one twin looking like a boy) I dont know if its true, maybe the doctor didnt found the second hartbeat the first time.
