Hey guys!
I have another story idea floating around about a girl who basicly finds her freedom from her family (how to ‘fly’). It’s still kind of rough as you can tell This is what happens when I listen to too much awesome Owl City
Anyways I kind of pictured the main female character with a "soft,"laidback name, nothing too harsh, something more feminine. [name]Ursula[/name] popped right into my head, but all I think about is the evil octopus in The [name]Little[/name] Mermaid. Any ideas?
If it helps the girl has freckles and long blond/brown hair and comes from a wealthy family. Used to being pampered and luxuries, she’s kind of self-centered. The story takes place along the east coast in the summertime at her family’s beach house, and I’ve just decided her last name is [name]Gilbert[/name].
Thanks so much!!
This was already suggested several times, but I think that [name]Amelia[/name] fits your criteria perfectly. That is definitely the name I would choose. I also liked the suggestions of [name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Alice[/name]. [name]Selene[/name] is another possibility.
Oh wow guys thanks so much! I certainly have a lot of great suggestions! This is great!
For whatever reason I was searching this sight and I stumbled across a forum about someone trying to name their triplet characters and the name [name]Rosalind[/name] popped right out at me. Does [name]Rosalind[/name] mess up the ‘softness’ I was looking for and is it too frilly? Because some other names I’ve narrowed down to are [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Emma[/name], [name]Stella[/name], [name]Nell[/name], [name]Flora[/name], [name]Belle[/name], [name]Freya[/name], or [name]Amelia[/name].
I don’t feel that [name]Rosalind[/name] is a “soft” name because of the Z sound. In my mind there are “soft” sounds and “hard” sounds, and Z is one of those “hard” sounds. I still stand by my choice of [name]Amelia[/name], but I also like [name]Nell[/name] and [name]Belle[/name] from your list. What about naming your character [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name]?
