I am really liking boys names that sound soft and cool but not exactly feminine. I don’t want a common name at all. I have a few that I like already. Could you suggest some and pick your favorites? I’m so stuck!
I really like [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Holden[/name]! I like the idea of [name]Burke[/name], too (reminds me of [name]Peter[/name] [name]Burke[/name] on the TV show White Collar), but I’m not sure about using it actually.

I like some of the names on your list, especially [name]Alden[/name] and [name]Bennett[/name]. I will say that, if you want the pronounciation “[name]Steph[/name]-in” you will be fighting an uphill battle with that spelling as it’s traditionally pronounced [name]Steve[/name]-in. Maybe [name]Stefan[/name]?
[name]Stephan[/name] is another way to spell [name]Steven[/name]. If your not in [name]Britain[/name] then I wouldn’t worry about what British slang is, [name]Burke[/name] is a good choice.
I love [name]Bennett[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Marshall[/name] - they’re all gorgeous!
I would to see [name]Stefan[/name] and not the [name]Stephen[/name], which is also pronounced [name]Steven[/name] in the UK so [name]Stefan[/name] would fit your pronunciation much better. I love [name]Stefan[/name] a lot more than the other option.
From your list I like [name]Alden[/name], [name]Bennet[/name], [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Stephen[/name] - although I pronounce this the same as [name]Steven[/name], so would also recommend the [name]Stefan[/name] spelling if you definitely want to get the steph-en pronunciation.
I also like [name]Noel[/name], but it’s only ever a [name]Christmas[/name] baby to me.
[name]Burke[/name]. The US berries seem to love this, but being from the UK it makes my skin crawl because it means an idiot (well, “berk” does, but it’s the same pronunciation). It’s up to you whether you take this into consideration or not, but if he ever comes to the UK the reaction will be one of scorn.
Lots of us here in the United States are pretty well familiar with the insult, “berk.” [name]Just[/name] saying, it will invite comments abroad and stateside.
