Some new combos-- what do you think?

I’ve been thinking about a couple new names lately:

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maude[/name]
[name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] ([name]Betsy[/name])
[name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]
[name]Adela[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name]
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]

Any opinions, critiques, or suggestions? Thanks!

[name]Hi[/name] irisrose!

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maude[/name] - I love [name]Aurelia[/name]! If people knew how to prn. it I would definitely use this! [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maude[/name] is a bit abrupt to me.
[name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] ([name]Betsy[/name]) - Ummm… [name]LOVE[/name] this! But you knew that!
[name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] - [name]Julia[/name] is lovely - I only love [name]Juliet[/name] a tiny bit more! [name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] has perfect flow.
[name]Adela[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name] - I am not a fan of either name…
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] - She sounds sweet! [name]Maeve[/name] is perfect here.
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] - Another perfect combo! It would be hard to not call her [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Mae[/name] - cute!

My favorites are [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name], and [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Margaret[/name].

Thanks lainy! [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Mae[/name] is adorable!

[name]Hi[/name]!

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maude[/name] - What a concoction of names! I love [name]Aurelia[/name], but it feels a little Romanesque with [name]Maude[/name], yea? [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Claire[/name], [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]June[/name], or [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Pearl[/name] feel more “right” to me, personally, but I do like your combination, too.

[name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] - [name]Libby[/name] is my favorite, but [name]Betsy[/name] is so vintage-chic. I love it! [name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] is absolutely gorgeous, and [name]Ivy[/name] would even make a wonderful first name, say [name]Ivy[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name]. This is really superb.

[name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] - I’m not a huge [name]Clementine[/name] fan myself, but this does add some sassy, spunky flair to the elegant [name]Julia[/name], which I do love. [name]Julia[/name] Celandine would be pretty, too, as would [name]Julia[/name] [name]Celestine[/name]. Oh, that’s quite regal, yes? Anyway, this is a fun one, too.

[name]Adela[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name] - I love [name]Jessamine[/name]. That’s really all I want to say! Beyond that, I’d slightly prefer [name]Ada[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name] to [name]Adela[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name], simply because [name]Adela[/name] feels slightly clunky to me. Still, very pretty!

[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] - Gorgeous. I love [name]Cecily[/name] so very much, and I’m very glad to see it here on your list. [name]Maeve[/name] is a fun way to perk up the vintage [name]Cecily[/name] with something both classic and modern. [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Faye[/name] would be nice for a lighter combination, too.

[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] - This is my favorite. [name]Eloise[/name] is, like, my new name obsession (well, [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name], actually!), and I think [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] is really divine. [name]Margaret[/name] is stately and simple, and [name]Eloise[/name], though vintage, is spunky, fresh, and so much fun. I think [name]Eloise[/name] has one of the best sounds around, too!

Great names, @irisrose. Well done!

You have some lovely names, and great combos here!

[name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maude[/name] - [name]Love[/name], love, [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Aurelia[/name]. Sorry, but I don’t care for [name]Maude[/name]. What about [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]?
[name]Elisabeth[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] ([name]Betsy[/name]) - Very cute!
[name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] - Ooooh! I love this combo! I’m not usually a fan of [name]Clementine[/name], but it sounds lovely here.
[name]Adela[/name] [name]Jessamine[/name] - Not really a fan of either name.
[name]Cecily[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] - Two beautiful names and such a lovely combo!
[name]Eloise[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] - Pretty. [name]Love[/name] the suggestion of nn [name]Ellie[/name] [name]Mae[/name].

My favorite combos are [name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name] and [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]! I would also love [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]!

[name]Lemon[/name], thanks for the comments! I see what you mean about [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maude[/name], I was thinking that [name]Maude[/name] helped to ground the more frilly [name]Aurelia[/name], but now I’m going more towards [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] or [name]Claire[/name]. I really like [name]Julia[/name] Celandine! And [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Eloise[/name] is gorgeous.

Kaer2010, I agree with you about [name]Clementine[/name]-- I’m not usually a fan, but it just seemed to click with [name]Julia[/name]! [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] is lovely! Thanks!

Any more opinions?

Lots of great combos here, but [name]Cecily[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] really stood out to me! Although I like it a lot, sometimes I feel [name]Cecily[/name] can be a bit lispy if you know what I mean and [name]Maeve[/name] has very strong consonant sounds while still being feminine and lovely. Oooh, I’m liking it more and more!

I have to say that I love them all! [name]Every[/name] single one is stunning and soooo pretty, but they all have a fun and unique feel to them, too!

It is a tough one, but my favorite is [name]Julia[/name] [name]Clementine[/name]…but [name]Eloise[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] and [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Maude[/name] are right there at the top (although I think [name]Aurelia[/name] [name]Jane[/name] would be my number one pick – I love that!)
Great list!
