Some pretty names

TThanks guys

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is my favorite! I imagine meadows of wildflowers, and hair blowing in the wind  Such a beautiful name imo.

Also, [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] would be a beautiful combo!

(I definitely think all of 4 your choices are classy and elegant. I prefer [name_f]Elle[/name_f] as a nickname as opposed to a standalone, and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a bit too common for me - but they certainly work.)

[name_f]Elle[/name_f] gives me some chic vibes, I love how it sounds and its easy spelling. But a [name_m]French[/name_m] friend of mine replied “What’s [name_f]Elle[/name_f]?” when I said this name, because of a very obvious reason. Funnily enough, my Spanish friend understood [name_f]Ella[/name_f] as a proper name when I said this. I would imagine a young, quiet and smart girl named [name_f]Elle[/name_f].

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is definitely a classic name for me, so a [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] I envision is a bookworm girl with curly brown hair. Same for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but I could honestly think of any girl named [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] since it’s a very common name.

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is kind of fairy name to me, I love how it sounds fresh next to Eleanors, Elianas and such [name_f]El[/name_f]-names. This is my favorite name of the four names you’ve mentioned.

[name_f]Elle[/name_f]–for my this one has a strong association with the movie Legally Blonde. I prefer [name_f]Marielle[/name_f] or [name_u]Ariel[/name_u]/le
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]–I don’t know anyone with this name but I believe it is nature name so it reads outdoorsy
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]–[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] has a very gentle sound to it so it does not strike me as imposing, just pretty
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]–a beautiful classic that reminds me of lots of strong women

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] are my favorites.

These are all so sweet

I’m starting with my favorite, [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]! I love everything about this name, it has a very soft, feminine and a bit mystical sound and cute nicknames! It makes me think of a petite little girl playing in a flower field
[name_f]Elle[/name_f] is not bad, but too simple for my tastes. It could be a nice nickname for [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] though!
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is my second favorite after [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. Very classy and it has plenty of nicknames.
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is my least favorite, there’s nothing wrong with it and I can appreciate a timeless name but it’s far too common and popular for me.

You and I think alike

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is my favorite, no surprise! I love that it’s classic but with a ton of nickname options, so every girl/woman can make [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] her own. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] fits my “preschooler to president” preference for naming a child. I also love that [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] generally transcends stereotypes. (For being so common, we haven’t met another little [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] since our daughter was born. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] isn’t popular like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] – there isn’t a huge surge of Elizabeths being born right now).

[name_f]Elle[/name_f] for me is a lovely nickname for any [name_f]El[/name_f]- name, but I wouldn’t use it as a child’s full name.

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is too frilly sounding for my taste, but obviously different parents have different naming styles!

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is a nice name, not exactly my style, but I’d choose it over [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] – it’s a name that has a modern sound and would be more uncommon without being “out there”

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] would be a lovely pairing. As @sbw said, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is great because it provides the opportunity for any girl/woman to truly make it her own.

Huh, that’s so funny I’ve never seen [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] as any more frilly or girly than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. To me they’re both strong regal names, but that’s only my opinion of course. <3

All classy. My favourite is [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f].

All beautiful and definitely “classy” to me!

[name_f]Elle[/name_f]: simple, sweet, sophisticated, [name_m]Uber[/name_m]-feminine but frills-free

[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]: strong, beautiful, classic but never overused — my favourite!

[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]: the definition of classic and timeless, plenty of nicknames, lots of strong namesakes

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f]: beautiful, delicate look and sound, several nice nicknames, but hasn’t got the long history of use that the others have

Yeah I’d have to agree there, I haven’t met anyone with the name [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] as of yet <3
