I hope you are well!

There are a couple of names I’ve been thinking about recently, and I’ve got a few questions on each!

As ever, only answer the ones you want to answer and this is all just for fun, just for my list, no real children will be affected by this

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer the spelling [name_f]Bee[/name_f] or [name_f]Bea[/name_f]?
What middle names would you pair with [name_f]Bea[/name_f]? Any style welcome.
What would you name a brother and sister to [name_f]Bea[/name_f]?

I think they all work, though [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] have a different vibe than [name_f]Elara[/name_f] for me. [name_f]Elara[/name_f] is celestial and sparkly, while [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] are much more grounded and earthy. [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is actually kind of earthy witch, ha!

Yes to both! [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] is a long-time favorite – I think she’s so underrated among the leonine names (though not actually related to them, strangely). I’ve been crushing on [name_f]Kinvara[/name_f] for a boy, which I realize is an acquired taste. However, I quite like it for a girl as well. I don’t like many K names, but this one is a standout!

I think I’d actually say [name_f]Bee[/name_f]! I like the look of [name_f]Bea[/name_f] more, but I’ve heard multiple people pronounce it as bee-ah, so I think it’s more straight forward to go for [name_f]Bee[/name_f].

I suck at making combos, but maybe something like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Clarimond[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] - basically anything long!

I’d go for another short and sweet but spunky name for a sibling. The first thing to come to mind was [name_f]Nell[/name_f], [name_f]Roxy[/name_f], [name_f]Luella[/name_f], [name_f]Fiadh[/name_f], [name_f]Frida[/name_f], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]Rudy[/name_u], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_u]Freddie[/name_u], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_m]Ivo[/name_m], [name_u]Percy[/name_u].

I love [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]! [name_f]Elara[/name_f] has a “colder” sound to me so I love something sweet-sounding like [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] next to it. But [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is almost equally lovely!

I’d go for something more feminine and fresh! I think they’re worth keeping! I’ve always thought [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] was so cool – it’s ancient, stately, bold, and elegant, but simultaneously feels like it would work for a modern little girl, especially with nicknames like [name_u]Leo[/name_u], [name_f]Lea[/name_f], or [name_f]Cady[/name_f]. [name_f]Kinvara[/name_f] is also lovely – it feels mystical and airy, and is unique yet not too “out there”. I also think ‘head of the sea’ is a stunning meaning.

First of all, I love [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f]. I think she’s all things whimsical and fantastical, while still having the very practical and literary [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] to bring her back down to earth a bit (no pun intended)

If I had to pick another middle for [name_f]Elara[/name_f], I’d go with… [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Maud[/name_f], [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Bette[/name_f], [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_u]Vivendel[/name_u], or [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Tansy[/name_f]
Out of those, my favorite is [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f], followed by [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f]. I really like both of these names myself - personally for you, I think [name_f]Kinvara[/name_f] fits your style a little bit more, as she’s very powerful and unusual while still coming across as feminine and familiar.
I think [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] I’m a little bit more on the fence for for you, seeing as she’s a little fantastical and that’s not exactly how I’d describe your names. However, if you’d like to keep her, I feel she’d fit right in alongside your [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f] and [name_u]Endellion[/name_u]

I think [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Mavis[/name_f] is cool but a little bit of a random pairing I wouldn’t automatically put them together. I think [name_f]Elara[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is appealing she’s got a pretty fairy quality that sounds very enchanting. I would pair [name_f]Elara[/name_f] with something like [name_f]Delphi[/name_f], [name_f]Carys[/name_f] or [name_f]Boheme[/name_f].

I would be tempted to go something like [name_u]Larkspur[/name_u], [name_f]Arrietty[/name_f] or [name_u]Penrose[/name_u].
I would pick [name_f]Carys[/name_f] she’s beautiful such a gorgeous Welsh name with the lovely meaning ‘love’ such a pretty choice.

[name_f]Kinvara[/name_f] is an interesting choice with an interesting links to the sea but doesn’t have the prettiest sound to my ears. I’m not a massive fan of the harsh K sound.

[name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] is beautiful she’s bright has gorgeous melodic sound that feels enchanting with a bright mysticism and a beautiful meaning. Definitely worth consideration.

i prefer Bea, since it feels more complete! i think the e and a next to each other look nice as well, and i like how it separates it from the insect.

kinvara is interesting, but i don’t love it - there are a lot of other irish names that i prefer. i think the “kin” part throws me off. it feels a bit out of place next to your other names

I prefer the spelling of “Bee” when it is not a nickname, but I think [name_f]Bea[/name_f] is really sweet as a nn for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. I would probably pair it with a traditional name as a middle, like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_f]Bea[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].

I really like both of these. I’ve liked [name_f]Kinvara[/name_f] for a long time, it has the most beautiful sound and is unusual without being difficult to pronounce. I am probably biased on this one though, as I have very happy memories of spending time in the place of [name_f]Kinvara[/name_f] in [name_u]Galway[/name_u]. [name_f]Leocadia[/name_f] is lovely as well, I have never heard it before but it sounds mythological and has a strong sound - plus [name_u]Leo[/name_u] is a darling nickname. [name_u]Love[/name_u] these two!
