When you already have a [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and have a another baby girl coming real soon, how do know if the name you have decided on so far is equally as awesome? Is [name_f]Emily[/name_f] it, or is it something else?
I for one don’t think [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is as awesome as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. Some names I would consider as awesome as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]:
[name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f]
I remember you were considering [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], and I love it. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Emily[/name_f] are perfect sisters. Others I can think of are [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], [name_f]Camille[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f] and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! I personally don’t think [name_f]Emily[/name_f] does [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] justice.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]- means light like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] does
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as sisters. [name_m]Both[/name_m] are short and sweet and totally charming and friendly. I like how they each start with a different letter, end with a different sound, but are both two syllables and both the same style (in my opinion)
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] definitely isn’t as awesome as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_m]How[/name_m] about:
[name_f]Nova[/name_f]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Eva[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Linnea[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalia[/name_f] or [name_f]Talia[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_f]Maya[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f]
[name_f]Delia[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]Bella[/name_f]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Adele[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]April[/name_f]
[name_f]Francesca[/name_f]
[name_f]Ariella[/name_f]
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f] or [name_f]Camilla[/name_f]
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Bianca[/name_f]
[name_f]Cassia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] or [name_f]Tess[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f]
[name_f]Jillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like any of these?
[name_f]Emily[/name_f] definitely doesn’t hold a candle to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f].
I’ve always thought [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] would be perfect sisters. More ideas:
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Gemma[/name_f]
[name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Pippa[/name_f]
[name_f]Polly[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] sister’s name is [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a much better name than [name_f]Emily[/name_f], sorry. If my parents had have had another girl rather than my brother, she would have been named [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Other names they considered: [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_f]Georgina[/name_f], [name_f]Annabel[/name_f], [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] & [name_f]Penelope[/name_f].
This is tough. A name like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is a beautiful name but it also sounds more old lady like than [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. [name_f]Molly[/name_f] sounds more childish than [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and I don’t think will age as well. I don’t understand the [name_f]Alice[/name_f] love as it doesn’t sound as cool as [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I don’t understand how [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] would be better than [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. This is tough…classic and cool. Maybe there isn’t anything better than [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]!
I actually like [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] together! [name_m]Both[/name_m] names are classics that will never go out of style, and will wear well from babyhood to adulthood.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Juno[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_u]Alix[/name_u], [name_f]Cate[/name_f], [name_f]Elle[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Nerida[/name_f], [name_f]Nova[/name_f], [name_f]Saffron[/name_f], [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]/[name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Tasha[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Zelda[/name_f].
Some repeats here: [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and…
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Polly[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]
[name_f]Margo[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Dinah[/name_f]
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]
[name_f]Tess[/name_f]
[name_f]Mara[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
If [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is your favorite, it is a good name. They go well together and - more importantly, because they’ll only live together for a bit of their lives - they’re good names independently, too. But I know what you mean. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is popular, too, but [name_f]Emily[/name_f] feels a bit less “special” somehow. It’s still one that people seem to love, though.
I love the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! And I really like [name_f]Emily[/name_f], but I have to agree…it doesn’t stand up to [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] for me. If it’s your absolute favorite, then don’t look back. It may be right for you.
I like the suggestions of [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and I also would suggest names like [name_u]Scout[/name_u], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]. They remind me of [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] in that they feel literary, are adorable and have a lot of spunk (for lack of a better word there).
I think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] would be a lovely sister for [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. It goes better than [name_f]Emily[/name_f], but both are similar. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] would be great sisters. =)
I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] best.
I also like
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
Good luck!
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a lovely name, [name_f]Emily[/name_f] not quite as pretty.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f]
[name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
I love the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]! The awesome Lucys that I know have awesome sisters named:
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] x 2
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
I personally adore [name_f]Fiona[/name_f] and [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_f]Nora[/name_f] as has been mentioned.
I like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Hazel[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and sister:
[name_f]Elsa[/name_f]
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_u]Wynne[/name_u]
[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is my absolute favorite name, so I’ve had this conversation as well. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite contenders for a sister are [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Maggie[/name_f]! [name_f]Emily[/name_f] is also a good choice, but doesn’t have the same spunk [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. Good luck!
