[name]Hi[/name] all! My hubby and I have two kids and are expecting boy/girl twins VERY soon, and I’m really stressing about the boy’s name. We’ve decided on [name]Clara[/name] [name]Joy[/name] for the girl. Our older two children are [name]Beckett[/name] [name]Reed[/name] and [name]Summer[/name] [name]Paige[/name].
Hubby really wants to call the baby boy [name]Aiden[/name]. He wanted [name]Aiden[/name] for our first son too and I do like the name, but it’s just so common now and I don’t really want him to be one of five Aidens in his class for his entire life. He suggested we change it to [name]Ayden[/name] or [name]Aaden[/name] to make it more unique but I don’t really think that would do anything but make it more likely to be misspelled. I’ve been trying to think of something similar to [name]Aiden[/name] while staying away from other super-common names like [name]Braedon[/name], [name]Caden[/name], [name]Jayden[/name] etc. [name]Aaron[/name], [name]Alden[/name], and [name]Auden[/name] came to mind but Hubby hates [name]Auden[/name], I’m not crazy about [name]Aaron[/name] and while we kind of like [name]Alden[/name], we don’t know if we love it enough to give it to our son.
So we need a baby boy name that sounds kind of like [name]Aiden[/name] but isn’t as overused, goes well with [name]Beckett[/name], [name]Summer[/name], and especially [name]Clara[/name], and sounds good with a one-syllable middle name. (We didn’t do that on purpose but figured why stop now? It will very likely be [name]James[/name] or [name]Bryce[/name].) Does anyone have any suggestions?
I absolutely love [name]Alden[/name] - I think it’s classic and simple yet a unique and surprising choice. But, if you guys aren’t that into [name]Alden[/name] I’ll second the ideas of [name]Eamon[/name], [name]Declan[/name], and [name]Adrian[/name] and add [name]Desmond[/name] to the list.
