I found [name_u]Windsor[/name_u] on a user’s baby name list, and I like the surname-y, yet whispy nature of the “W,” and even nn possibilities Susu, but for obvious pagent-mom-putting-on-airs-reasons, it wouldn’t be appropriate. [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] is just too “[name_f]Kate[/name_f]” for me, but I do like that sound too, however, I don’t like [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] or [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. Middle name would be [name_f]Teodora[/name_f] (as my son’s mn is [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], and both mean gift from God).
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_u]Winslow[/name_u]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] (I’m also not a huge fan of [name_f]Willow[/name_f] but for some reason I like [name_f]Willa[/name_f] so maybe this works.)
[name_f]Winnie[/name_f]/[name_u]Wynn[/name_u] (Same thing as above with [name_f]Winifred[/name_f].)
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u]
[name_f]Whitley[/name_f]
These don’t with W but give me the same feeling as [name_f]Winslet[/name_f]

[name_f]Gwen[/name_f]
[name_u]Gwynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Gwenyth[/name_f] or [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]* I love [name_f]Gwyneth[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]
[name_u]Wendell[/name_u] (WHEN duhl or when-[name_u]DELL[/name_u]) Wendelle
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] (I like this better on a girl)
[name_u]Wynn[/name_u]
[name_f]Wellesley[/name_f] ([name_m]WELLS[/name_m]-[name_u]Lee[/name_u])
[name_f]Whitley[/name_f] [name_f]Teodora[/name_f] comes closest to the essence of [name_f]Winslet[/name_f] and [name_u]Windsor[/name_u], I think.
(I like [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] [name_f]Teodora[/name_f] but that’s just my personal style.) [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_f]Teodora[/name_f] is close, too

[name_u]Brinsley[/name_u] *
[name_u]Darby[/name_u]
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
Funny you should bring up [name_u]Alcott[/name_u], I have been thinking about it, because I do love [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f] [name_u]Alcott[/name_u], but sadly cannot use [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]!
[name_u]Willoughby[/name_u] or [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f] might work though!
[name_u]Willoughby[/name_u] is a name of a kid in my town ( boy around 4) and also a man I know. Great name. As a reference [name_u]Willoughby[/name_u]'s sister is Sommerset. [name_f]Wisteria[/name_f] is pretty too but kind of makes me think of Listeria. I think [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] kind of has the same vibe and [name_u]Wallace[/name_u].
