I love [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] have for yrs but realize its pretty popular.I have loved the name [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] since I was little. Which name is best and need opinions for middle names for [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] I like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] but not sure mn for [name_u]Meredith[/name_u].
I actually know a [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and I think that is a lovely combination!! Your question is hard for me to answer though because as much as I like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], the popularity of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is a turn off for me. I guess because of that I lean towards [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], but only slightly.
Despite [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] being so popular I’d rather be a [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] than a [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]. That’s only my personal opinion of course but I think a factor that plays into it is that there are still Merediths around who are in their 40’s to 70’s. To me it’s not vintage enough to be usable again.
It’s a name I would put in the same category as [name_f]Pamela[/name_f] or [name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f], etc.
Sophia Pearl sounds gorgeous.
^ I actually also know a [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] who is 20 so I don’t think of it as just a name for women between 40 and 70 but I suppose a lot more women have that name in that age group.
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] but it i super popular do you like
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
or
[name_f]Merida[/name_f]
i meant sophie not sophia
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], but [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is nice as well. The popularity factor doesn’t stop me from liking a name if I truly do love it. Popular names today are not like popular names of yesterday, if that makes sense.
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]

[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is beautiful and relatively rare. I particularly love the nn [name_f]Edie[/name_f] or [name_f]Merry[/name_f] for it. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if it’s a fine name, I’m just so sick of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I like one or two syllable names with [name_u]Meredith[/name_u].
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] -the [name_m]French[/name_m] version [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] is much friendlier than [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] or [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. I used to work at a rock climbing gym and on weekends there would be a lot of kids. I met a little girl named [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] and I couldn’t help thinking that it was just really too… old, I guess? … for a little girl. There is a reason that [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is so popular. It’s a great name.
Here are some middles for [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]:

[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is a Welsh boy’s name so I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is absolutely gorgeous. The popularity of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] puts me off but it is very pretty
Well I will say I have never heard [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] on a boy and would think it was strange if I did. I like that [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is not as popular as [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] but [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] probably is my favorite. I never hear [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] where I live and its like number 13 I guess instead of 1 so not quite as popular. Most of the other girl names I like I cant use for some reason which is [name_f]Rose[/name_f] our last name is Rozell, [name_f]Willa[/name_f] my nephew is [name_m]Will[/name_m] so I feel like those are out of the question.
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u]! I would just adore hearing it on a little girl. For MNs, I think [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] does work, but I think your favs work well together too: [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] or - my favorite - [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f].
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] sounds kind of old to me. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], since you love both so much?
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]. I don’t know very many [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]'s at all, maybe that’s just my area though. [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is pretty, and I love it, but [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is more my style. I love [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], it’s simple, pretty, and ultra elegant. A middle name I love with [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f]. Some suggestions for [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]:
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Rue[/name_u]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Elisabetta[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Chantal[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Loren[/name_u] (Luh-ren)
I prefer [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is fine and pretty and all… but it’s just… there. I wouldn’t use [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] has character and the consonants ground it - gives it some substance. I really love [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] as a middle name, usually, on my own lists, ([name_f]My[/name_f] personal favourite combo with it is [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u])
because I love that flow, but as a first name I like it with:
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Clare[/name_u]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_u]Rain[/name_u]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u] [name_f]Sabine[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is lovely! I quite adore it, actually! I used to like [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], but I like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] (and [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] in general) much more. Before I read your thread, I was of mind to suggest [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], which I think is gorgeous as well!
Good luck!
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f], but yes I agree it’s much too popular. However [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is a beautiful name! I love it, so i would say go with Mere
[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_f]Merideth[/name_f] (same as [name_u]Meredith[/name_u], I take no responsibility for the spelling) and, while I have met quite a few other girl [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]'s over the course of my lifetime, I’ve never met a male with the name. Although my mom says she went to high school with boy [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]. All the [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]'s I’ve ever met are now in their 30’s, so to me it feels strange to think of it on a child, but it is a nice name. I’ve gotten compliments on it and it seems that most people are familiar with it without there being 8 in ever class.
I’m [name_f]Merideth[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and I’ve always thought it flowed well.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is a beautiful name!
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is very popular, but for a good reason, if you love it do not worry about how popular it is.
[name_f]My[/name_f] choice is [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]! Yes it’s very popular, and I usually don’t like that, but I’ve never liked [name_u]Meredith[/name_u]. [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] is beautiful!
