[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everybody!
They are both very pretty names!
Is Jourdana pronounced like [name_f]Jordana[/name_f]? If so, that’s my favourite choice. If you would use [name_f]Jordie[/name_f] as a nickname, I would probably spell it without the u.
Good luck deciding!
[name_f]Soraya[/name_f] all the way! Jourdana (or [name_f]Jordana[/name_f]) would be a fine choice too, but [name_f]Soraya[/name_f] is one of those names I’ve always found breathtakingly beautiful. If my husband or I had the heritage for it, it would totally be on my list. Either way you choose, best of luck.
Soraya is beautiful. Jourdana doesn’t compare, [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Soraya[/name_f] by miles!
[name_f]Soraya[/name_f] is too close in sound to “psoriasis” and visually to “sorry” for me. Jourdana or [name_f]Jordana[/name_f] and related nicknames is the clear winner to me.
I much prefer Jourdana. I also love its potential nns.
I love [name_f]Soraya[/name_f]!! Such a beautiful name. I like the nickname options for Jourdana, but I like the full name [name_f]Soraya[/name_f] better.
I love both [name_f]Soraya[/name_f] and Jourdana, but I feel like Jourdana may cause a few spelling issues, as the name isn’t typically spelled with a U in my experience. I’m normally pretty lax with spellings, despite the problems I’ve had with my own name, but because this is really difficult to make a choice between the two, the spelling is my only hang up haha.
Therefore, I’d choose [name_f]Soraya[/name_f].
I feel like Jourdana is super basic compared to [name_f]Soraya[/name_f]. I love it. I also love the not to that part of your heritage. Go for it!
Both names are beautiful! If you live in [name_u]North[/name_u] [name_u]America[/name_u] I would consider spelling them Suraiya or [name_f]Jordanna[/name_f] but only if that works for you. I know one of each and that is how they spell it and I think they are both very pretty. So hard to choose but I think I like [name_f]Soraya[/name_f]/Suraiya for the vibe of elegance.
The Suraiya spelling (if that’s an option) does eliminate quite a bit the “psoriasis” and “sorry” issues for me and I think it’s beautiful. This spelling also seems to offer the cute nn [name_f]Suri[/name_f].
The “i” in the [name_f]Suraya[/name_f] spelling is not necessary if you go that route.
I think [name_f]Soraya[/name_f] is beautiful. Maybe [name_f]Raya[/name_f] could be a nickname?
[name_f]Soraya[/name_f] is stunning! Jourdana doesn’t give me the same feeling.
