What are you thoughts on Sorelle? What vibe does it give off to you?
I’m expecting my fourth daughter and am looking for a sweet boho/earthy/free spirited name to complete my girls. Their names are Elowen, Indie and Mira.
We were leaning towards Summer (nn Sunny) bc of it’s sunshiney, sweet vibe but I came across this name and thought it was so sweet and quirky!
I had a teacher with this name who said it “suh-RELLE” which i liked a lot. I think it has some of the sunshiney/sweet vibe of [name_f]Summer[/name_f] but I like [name_f]Sorelle[/name_f] more with your girls!
It makes me think of a type of mushroom! It could be cute but I do prefer [name_f]Summer[/name_f]. How about [name_u]Sutton[/name_u] or [name_u]Sable[/name_u]?
I’m learning Italian and apparently I’m far enough in that “sorelle” just means “sisters” in my brain, and that’s not awful but also doesn’t call to me.
I do like [name_f]Soraya[/name_f], if that appeals.
Thanks for the feedback! Overall, I too keep seeing “sore” now and my husband isn’t a fan at all. I think we are going to move on from it. Still think it has a charm to it though!
I do love the name [name_f]Sorelle[/name_f] It’s very unique and goes with the vibe of your other daughters. [name_f]Summer[/name_f] is a very sweet name too, though
Oh I like [name_f]Sorelle[/name_f] it’s actually one of the managers where I work name she’s not my favourite manager but I think she has a lovely name. However from the two contenders I prefer [name_f]Summer[/name_f]
What if you doubled the R? [name_f]Sorrelle[/name_f]?
Also alternatively, [name_f]Sorelle[/name_f] makes me think of my nieces name, [name_f]Arelle[/name_f]. “Uh-rehl.” Maybe this is a good similar sounding option!
