I would pronounce all of these the same… rhymes with Papaya, but have had people say that they would pronounce Caya as [name]KAY[/name]-uh, not [name]KI[/name] - uh. What do you think? Thanks!
They are probably saying they’d pronounce Caya that way because we don’t see that spelling much. Sometimes if I see a different spelling (i.e. [name]Venessa[/name] instead of [name]Vanessa[/name]), I think… “Should I be pronouncing that differently?” I would pronounce [name]Kaia[/name], [name]Kaya[/name], and [name]Caia[/name] all “[name]KY[/name]-uh”, but Caya does look strange to me.
Agree with pp. I would pronounce them all the same but I vastly prefer [name]Caia[/name] or [name]Kaia[/name]. There’s something about the c in Caya that throws me off. I would even have less trouble with [name]Kaya[/name]. I really like [name]Caia[/name]/[name]Kaia[/name], btw.
My brain should pronounce Caya like [name]Maya[/name] with a C, but I’d also pronounce it [name]KAY[/name]-uh. Maybe because I think of the [name]Cayman[/name] Islands? To me, the only one that looks right is [name]Kaia[/name].
My brain also tells me to pronounce Caya as cay-uh even though I know otherwise.
I prefer [name]Caia[/name] or [name]Kaia[/name] and I think you couldn’t go wrong with either. I [name]LOVE[/name] it!
I like the [name]Kaia[/name] spelling. I think it’s pretty. My friend’s daughter is Kieya… I’m not the biggest fan of the spelling (she’s into alternative spellings, son is [name]Kaeden[/name]) but just throwing that out there. [name]Love[/name] the name, but I like it spelled [name]Kaia[/name] the best
I think [name]Kaia[/name] is lovely and Caya is certainly [name]Cay[/name]-uh in my head sorry!
[name]Kaia[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name] would be very pretty
